this is my cream
for now, and i do buy/try alot of other brightening/lightening/whitening/fade creams, but this one works the best, feels the best and smells really nice. it is also inexpensive, and avons always got it on sale [ive never even paid the full price for it]. i happened to see avons' little sis brand mark has a new 'all clear' [or 'seeing clearly' or something] cream, which has licorice [i <3 licorice] to help fade your speckley blotchy places. ill buy that too, but ill come back to this im sure. oh, too, you should kno the first week or two youll seem to see more freckles but its b/c the rest of your skin fades out faster. the freckles catch up and voila! your face=porcelain. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 7 people said helpful

Haven't noticed a difference
I am on the fence with this. I have never noticed a brightening effect on my dull skin tone. I do like the degree of moisture this offers, though. Ultra WHAT!?!?!?

no change at all
In my quest for clearer skin, I've used a lot of fade creams and Anew from Avon was probably the worst in that it didn't do a thing. So sad it is discontinued, my glow is gone!
I have used this product for about 8 years and now I have one jar left. Something in it made my skin less blotchy and more even-tone. I am looking for a substitute but nothing else has helped out. It actually works!
I'm very skeptical, especially when it comes to skin care. The skin care companies are always trying to tell you that you need this and that product, but when I do research at the library, the dermatologists tell you that most of the skin care companies' claims are bogus. Well I'm in my early 40's and I'm getting some facial age spots and sun freckles. I read a couple of reviews about this product, and I figured I'd give it a try. Avon lets you return products no questions asked if you are not happy, so I figured I had nothing to lose (plus it was on sale). Anyway, after 1 week my age spots started to fade. In 2 weeks I noticed that a couple of rough patches on the side of my face, which had been there for years, totally disappeared. This was an unexpected benefit. I'm in my third week and the age spots are 1/2 what they used to be and I am able to now cover them with mineral make up. Can't wait to see if they totally disappear. So happy with my facial results that I've started using the cream on my chest and hands. I have been using this every morning and really like it. My skin seems to be a little brighter and softer. I hasn't even out my skin tone like I thought it would but it has been a great mosturizer. First compliment I ever got on my skin, I was wearing this lotion.
This product really does give you a wonderful glow and luminosity, without being too heavy. This rich cream smells wonderful and stays on all day. I am in college right now, studying Human Nutrition and am impressed with the ingredients, which are known to heal, protect, and increase cell turnover. very nice feel
