I like this product and did not find it any more or less messy than other at-home microwave kits. It definitely does remove hair from my face, underarms, bikini area, and legs very well. I don't like the smell, which reminds me of candle wax and aspirin, but it's not bad enough to keep me from purchasing this product again.
