This oil is rather thick but smells so good. I usually leave it in for 40 minutes and then shampoo it out. This leaves my hair feeling silky but looking healthy. Sometimes when I don't have 40 minutes to spare, I use this as part of my styling arsenal. I use it with leave in conditioner. It makes the styling portion of my routine a little more tolerable since I'm cutting out a few steps with this like one of the silicone products. It works on curly/wavy hair by giving it a boost. I had a bad hair experience about 2 years ago with perming and coloring -- my hair was left extremely dry and brittle - I tried all kinds of products, but nothing seemed to help -- then I found Weleda Rosemary Hair Oil - what a difference it made! This oil is a little too viscous to spread easily onto hair. I was hoping it would work wonders on my thick, dry, coarse, but alas no. Not only does it provide great natural relief from the itchiness, but it keeps my hair shiny and soft and it smells great too.
