Burt's Bees Farmer's Friend Hand Salve Reviews

Good scent
LittleBunny (393 reviews)While I love the scent of this salve and thought the tin was adorable, I felt like it was too difficult to get out of the tin. I also thought the texture of the salve was too hard and greasy. I would not use this again. — 8 months, 4 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Good stuff.
LipglossandSpandex (487 reviews)First of all, I love that Burt's Bees products are not only earth friendly and natural, but also adorably packaged, AND they're headquartered in my old college town of Durham, North Carolina! But onto the product. I really like this hand salve a lot. It has kind of an earthy, herbally scent (rosemary, lavender and eucalyptus are included in the ingredients). It's a bit pungent, and if you're used to florally sweet products, this will be a bit of a change. The texture is a little hard as a solid in the tin, and you'll have to scrape some out. However, it quickly becomes more spreadable in consistency due to the heat of your body. It sitll applies rather thick and a little greasy. It's definitely more of a hand treatment than a product you can throw on and then go about doing things. But when your hands are really in need of some TLC, this stuff is great. The tin is huge and will last for quite awhile. — 8 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Great Value
CliniqueLover (265 reviews)This is a really great all natural product for dry chapped hands. I'm the type of person who likes to use products that are as natural as possible because I believe that it is better for my skin and this certainly does heal my hands. A little on the smelly side but you get so much out of so little. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

hand saver
Miss_Vicki (253 reviews)This is great for those who get really dry, chapped hands. It's like an ointment for your skin. Plus a little goes a long way. I like to use it after washing dishes. The only thing I don't like is the medicine-y smell. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great for chapped hands
PPolished (57 reviews)This is great for healing chapped and dry hands in the winter. In particular I use it in the winter on my knuckles when they get really dried out and red looking. Perfect size to stow in your purse or anywhere else on the go! — 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Usually if my boyfriend...
BlackFleur145 (37 reviews)I will try to buy many products made by a brand, especially if my boyfriend likes their products. I have frequently purchased Burt's Bees chap and been happy. My boyfriend however is a huge fan of the Peach and Willow bark scrub. I thought if I bought this, he would be inclined to use it to. This product however, takes so much to get the job done. It does not come cheap either. It takes about three globs full of this jelly like substance to get my winter hands to feel normal again. The greasy feeling doesn't even go away for about ten minutes and the smell leaves something to be desired. Not happy with this purchase. Best of luck with this buy ladies xoxo. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Burt's Bees Farmer's Friend Hand
greteldog (7 reviews)This product is great. I also love how it comes in a tin can container instead of a cheap old plastic one. — 1 year, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great for dry, chapped hands and heels!
BeautyAndAllThat (60 reviews)This hand salve really moisturized my hands in the cold winter. I also use this for my rough elbows and other dry spots on my arms. I would also recommend using this to make the heels of your feet instantly smoother! It contains a combination of natural oils such as almond, olive and soybean. The fragrant is strong- rosemary, which I like. I have a travel sized version and instead of dipping my hands inside, I use it like I would a lip balm stick, so I do not get my fingers oily. This salve leaves a glistening finish on my hands. — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
