Clinique Blended Face Powder and Brush Reviews

Light coverage that blends well with my other makeup
I am a liquid foundation user. I put my regular makeup in the morning, but in mid-afternoon (summer) I often notice shiny T-zone. Recently my friend gave me a great tip. As she suggested, I bought Clinique Blended Face Powder. I use it over my liquid foundation and this powder blends very well. I like the light sheer coverage. — 4 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Average
I tried this powder and while it is finely milled and natural looking upon application, it didn't work for my skin. My skin is oily and the powder did not stay colour-true. I like puff application better than the brush which tended to be messier, even with minimal powder on it. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 6 people said helpful

Might Be More of a Dry Skin Blot Than Oily, Huh?
This sets makeup well but I have to say that in the market, it may not be the best depending on your skin type. I have combination oily skin and even just after a couple of hours during the winter, I find myself shiny especially in the t-zone which means this didn't do the job right the first time so I'll blot and I apply again. Building this up can look cakey and unnatural, leaving skin feeling heavy as well. I've found though for $18.50, it's a great deal considering it comes with a brush of its own but don't get me wrong because this brush can only do as far as the t-zone because it would take forever and an uneven application if you decide you'll be using this regularly as a setting brush for this powder. Yes, this does come in a translucent finish but I do find that it can add a pink tinge to any yellow based undertone but this may be good for some people who need to neutralize that. Overall, this powder is very velvety to the touch but it doesn't give skin a nice glow or finish as it can overdo the matte effect and won't last long until oily or normal skin can look like an oil slick. I actually prefer the compact version when it comes to this because it saves space, it is less messy, and because the matte finish doesn't last too long it is more convenient for touch ups. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 7 people said helpful

Shine-free all day~
This is a great deal for it's price. The jar is giant, and you get a retractable brush as well. The powder helped set my make-up and kept me shine free all day, meaning that my eyeliner didn't smudge nor did my eyeshadow crease. It looks natural (I used the translucent shade) and you can't tell you're wearing powder. My only beef is I wish the brush was a tad more fluffier, but despite it being smaller--it still applies evenly. — 4 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Wonderful!
I was hesitant about paying so much for face powder, but i bought ti anyway. putting the price aside, i am very pleased with it. One of the best things is the brush. it is very easy to use and it is small, it also comes with a nice cap. The powder is so soft that it doesn't take much to spread it and cover blemishes. the powder also helped soak up moisture if you sweat. The fact that its fragrance free is especially nice! i have very sensitive skin so it is crucial to have fragrance free products. the onyl reason I dont give it a 10 is because I dont like the price. — 3 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Product Review: Clinique Blended Face Powder
There are a few other choices of translucent or invisible face powders on the market, but Clinique's Blended Face Powder and Brush in Invisible Blend works for both girls and mature women. My daughter, who admittedly has beautiful 20-something skin, brushed the powder on her bare skin and it gave her a flawless finish. I lightly dusted it over my foundation as a setting powder and it didn't settle in what I prefer to call my laugh lines but there may have been a trace amount in my crinkles. I have not worn powder for eons because it tends to emphasize the lines on my face rather than make them invisible, but I would wear Clinique's Invisible Blend on special occasions when I need that extra setting power. It is the first time since the company's launch in 1968 that the loose powder is available in an invisible blend. The 100 percent fragrance-free (phthaltes-free for my health-conscious girls), non-acnegenic formula makes it a perfect choice for all skin types, tones, and women who are concerned with what ingredients they put on their faces. Available at Sephora ($18.50). — 5 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 7 people said helpful

It's Alright
What's great about it is it looks good if you use a tiny tiny bit, which means it lasts forever. But the shade I bought is a bit dark(10 Transparency Bronze) and it turns out a bit too shimmery. Yet it looks great on the eyes! I use it as the BEST bronze eyeshadow. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Love this powder
Through the years, I've tried numerous loose powders and find that I always return to Clinique's. The color selection is nice and the texture is light enough to use over liquid foundation or alone for very transparent coverage. The powder consistency is not too dry and has a silky feel. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

So-So
I had heard a lot of good things about this powder but I was dissapointed. It starts out neat but then gets messy and it did not keep me shine-free for very long-even though my skin is not overly oily. It has a nice light sheen but the brush was sort of hard to use at first-I had to practice. For the money there are better powders. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
