A Tender, Effective Makeup Remover

We used wash cloths, working until every bit of color disappeared. Until then, I would simply have reached for a bar of soap or foaming cleanser, but I learned from classes that it sometimes TAKES OIL TO REMOVE OIL. Lipids bond together and unwanted products are completely eradicated (thus, the huge success of olive oil as a purifier). Lancome, originally built as a house for skin care, understands this. Their "Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover" is pricey at about $28.00, but definitely worth it in the long run. Bi-Facil is an award-winning formula that is half-emollient. It's a good thing. Watch even the longest-lasting waterproof mascara disappear with ease and no tears or harsh, irritating ingredients to sting you. Be careful around eyes; eyelashes do not always grow back and skin is as delicate as tissue paper here. The more tenderly you remove eye makeup, the better your eyes will look in the future (read that again, please). A water-based part of Bi-Facil refreshes eyes and conditions skin with no greasy residue. Be sure to shake the solution well before using and dab on liberally with cotton pads. I love it to rid my skin of foundation, blush, and lipstick as well. Even if your skin is oily, have no fear. It will not cause blemishes (they come because of clogged pores, dead skin, and more). I generally follow with a mild cleanser and then a serum and/or moisturizer. It is even effective for those with sensitive eyes. Wonderful Eye Makeup Remover
Whether you have on a smokey eye for a night out or you just have on a bit of mascara, this bi-facil double action eye makeup remover does wonders in removing all traces of makeup from your eyes. This product is meant for all skin types, removes waterproof makeup, and is gentle enough for sensitive eyes. It has two layers, and that's why it recommends you to shake well so that it mixes the solutio...read moren. Then take a cotton pad and dab some solution onto to help clean any type of eye makeup off. I even use it to remove blush and lipstick sometimes. The only downside is it does leave your eyes feeling oily, but just wash your face afterwards and you'll be fine. Good but expensive!
I received this as part of a GWP, and I like this eye makeup remover a lot. It has nice packaging, does a decent job of removing eye makeup, isn't too greasy, and doesn't burn my eyes. However, it's a little spendy, and Neutrogena's Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover works just as well for me but for much less $$! Works very well, very pleasant scent...
I am in love with many "Lancôme" products and this is one of them... I'll say right off the start that the only reason I'm giving this 9 stars is because I do find it very pricey, and those who are on a budget can get something of equal effectiveness for half the price... BUT! If you can afford this - you will love it!!! First of all, it smells heavenly... And it's oh so gentle on your eyes....read more.. You need very little for it to remove all of your make-up. And what I find surprising is that it removes even that stubborn eye liner residue between every single one of you lashes... I really don't know how it does this, but your eye are completely make-up free when you open your eyes... (I close my eyes when I'm taking the make-up off... Does everyone do this or just me? ...lol...) And I have to admit that I like it so much that sometimes I don't stop at my eyes, and actually do my whole face with it... It does feel a bit greasy at the end but the oil absorbs after a little while and just leaves my skin very soft and smelling like heaven... But I don't really know if this is beneficial for my skin or not, and try not to do it that often, especially since this product is so pricey... So yes, it does feel oily when you apply it, as is the case with most eye make-up removers I've tried, but it kind of feels like dry oil... You know those dry oils that you would usually apply to your hair? That's how this one feels... You don't feel greasy - just oily for a few minutes and then it gets absorbed by your skin leaving your eyes completely make-up free and the skin around your eyes perfectly moisturised... I didn't like this, it too way too long to get my make up off and the first time I used it it dumped all over my sink, awful design, and honestly I would rather just go to the dollar tree and get a bottle of baby oil cause this stuff burned my eyes awful, I could barely get through taking off the shadow on one eye.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 8 people said helpful

#1 Eye makeup remover
The best eye makeup remover I have ever used!! It's gentle(even with my contacts), has a light clean smell, and removes all my eye makeup with just a few swipes with a cotton ball. It's pricey but worth it because it lasts me for a couple months because I'm just cleaning my eye area. Use the American Version
I love the American version of this product. It is non-greasy and gentle but effective. It doesn't clog my pores, but really gets the product off. It even removes waterproof mascara without having to rub. The European version, however, does not work and is very greasy.
