Dove Cleans and Softens Beautifully
Remember the days when you weren't totally overwhelmed with ads for makeup, skin, and hair products? I miss them! Don't get me wrong--I probably own more products than the law allows, but there are days when I'd like to return to simpler times, when you knew which brands worked and which didn't. Some of the old slogans for products still play in my head: Maybelline used to proclaim that they had "fine makeup, sensibly priced." Another ad? Everyone knew that Dove was "one-quarter cleansing cream." I paid that no heed through my teens and early twenties, when keeping oil at bay was a problem and I used Neutrogena or Ivory (remember dependable Ivory?) to keep my skin clear. Now Dove has its place in my bathroom, although I do switch with many other cleansers. The company has replaced their famous tag-line to say that it contains one-quarter "moisturizing" cream. I enjoy the pleasant fragrance and the unique shape of the bar itself. It does lather very well, is gentle to my complexion, and rinses completely, without any residue left behind. My skin never feels stripped or taut; rather, it is ever-so-clean smooth, and velvety. Dove Beauty Bar
My mother introduced me to this. She used to use Clinique's face soap, but found it too drying. This has a wonderful fragrance, and does not leave your face or skin feeling dry. Old Favorite
I've used this since I was a little girl, and it has always been a good product. I like the creamy lather and mild scent, and how it doesn't leave my face feeling stripped after I use it. Not for my sensitive skin
This leaves a bit of residue on my skin and that causes my dry skin to become even drier. It also doesn't bode well for my sensitive skin. Awesome product.
I love Dove Beauty Bars! They're reasonably priced. I can use them on my face and on my body. I use makeup removing wipes, then follow up with Dove every night. It works well, and smells pleasant. Dove Beauty Bar
Dove Beauty Bars moisturize while getting your body nice and clean. This bar lathers well, and has a fresh, soft scent. I do not use this on my face because even this dries out my face. You won't be "squeaky" clean, which is a good thing! It means some of your natural body oils are still there and the Dove moisturizes as it cleans. I started with this particular Dove soap but have changed to the sensitive skin formula just because I prefer it. Soap is really subjective, depending on the person, so not every person will love every soap. Yeah value pack!!

Lovely!
This is a great product. It leaves my skin smooth and soft without leaving a heavy residue. The curved shape of the bar makes it very easy to handle. A gentle, effective way to clean my skin
When it is not convenient to bring a liquid form of body wash/shower gel with me, I choose Dove's bar, and carry it with a soap dish. Just like other Dove bar, this soap is also mild, lathers well for a bar of soap, and does not dry-out my skin, but I still feel clean. As their TV ad says, I feel no residue left on my skin. The scent of this soap is fresh, powdery, and not overpowering, but I prefer their "Unscented Bar" to this one.
