ULTA Eyeshadow
These are the best, and they are not pricey. They are highly pigmented. I use a primer with every shadow I use, and these shadows really stay on and don't crease or smear. Highly recommend. — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

This is crud
I didn't like it. The color was not nearly as vibrant as it appeared in the pack, it had sort of a dusty quality to it...and the compact is very cheaply made-- the top broke off almost immediately. You can get better eyeshadow for much less money. — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 4 people said helpful

I like these shadows
it takes a bit to get the color to be true, but they are pretty colors. Ulta shadows aren't the BEST quality but they are better than most I've tried. I LOVE the shade 'Safari' It's like an olive with a gold sheen-ness to it. It looks gorgeous on the lids. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Really good shadow, in TONS of colors.
Ulta eyeshadow is one of the best kept secrets of drugstore makeup. At this point, I probably own about two dozen of these eye shadows in almost every color of the rainbow. Some of my favorites are Toast, Golden Olive, Safari, Galaxy and Truffle. Ulta is one of the few brands that has such a wide array of colors (besides Urban Decay and MAC), AND that are inexpensive (besides NYX). I will admit that some of the colors are of better quality than others—but that's true of many makeup lines, even MAC. Honestly, I think that some of the Ulta colors are comparable to Stila or Urban Decay in terms of quality, especially the shimmer shades. The texture is nice and smooth, and they're fairly pigmented on average. Sometimes you have to layer on the color to really get it to look as vibrant as it looks in the pan, or you can just apply it wet. The matte shades tend to be a little lower in pigmentation, and just a touch chalky compared to higher end shadows, but pretty average compared to drugstore lines. The lasting power on these is pretty typical—I can't wear any shadow for more than a few hours without creasing, unless I throw on some eye primer. As long as you use eye primer with these, even oily-lidded gals can get a full day's worth of wear. I love the packaging. It's super sturdy, and the clear plastic cover means you can easily find whichever color you're looking for. At regular price, these are a great bargain because the amount of product in the pan is HUGE. What's even more exciting is that these frequently go on sale for just TWO DOLLARS. That's unbelievable. If you ever just need some wacky colors for Halloween or some other costume occasion, these are also perfect for that! I will definitely continue to repurchase these. — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 6 people said helpful

Not the best
These eye shadows are "just okay." They do come in a variety of colors and are well priced, but in my experience they aren't worth the money. I really don't care for the texture - they can be a bit chalky. I prefer a more velvety shadow. Also, they do not wear very well and are often sheer - read not very pigmented. Overall, these look cheap on the eye. Not very luxurious. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Review: Ulta Eye Shadow
Try "In the Buff". The color is insane! I love the slight shimmer and pigmentation. The shadow stays all day! — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great Eye Color
I really love these eye shadow shades because they are bright and last a long time and there are colors perfect for a natural day look or an evening smoky eye. The eye shadow is soft, but isn't messy or powdery. The colors blend easy and don't smudge to make your eyes stand out. — 2 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Great quality for great price
This eyeshadow is very silky and finely milled, but not powdery or talcy. They have over 80 shades to choose from, not just bunch of matte color like many department brands. They have intersting pearly shades, and enough shades for smokey eyes and colorful looks too. I stocked up during buy 1 get 1 free sales with their coupons, which happens quite a lot. The compact is very ergonomic and portable. Works best when you use an eyeshadow primer to give impact to the true color of this wonderful eyeshadow. I hope they come up with more shades for me to keep buying up :) — 5 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

My go-to shadow when I'm feeling broke
In this economy I'm finding that I have to turn away from the lovely and tempting eye shadow offerings of Urban Decay, Clinique, MAC, and other top brands with top shadows. Thank goodness for Ulta eyeshadows. I can often find the color I want and know that for a few dollars I'll be rewarded with soft, well-pigmented, glide-on colors. I wish they had more matte shades. — 4 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Very good!
I got a single of Sandstone when they opened a store near me a few weeks ago. It's perfect for my eye color, sort of a brownish copper, not too sparkley. I will be checking out the sales for when the have BOGO for sure! Even though I have enough eye shadow:) — 2 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful
