I like this one just as much as the orginal one. Same formula just a curved brush. Pretty much the same. Very nice mascara.

Meh

I will admit that I am extremely hard to please when it comes to mascara. I have been using the same favorite most of the time for a couple of years now, but when I am handed a tube of something I've never tried, I'm always willing to give it a try. So I tried this one and it did not impress me. I've never been a fan of the curved brushes. Seems no matter how much practice I get, I am not good at ...read moreusing them. Nor do I see a difference in how my lashes look when I use a curved brush vs. a regular one. This particular mascara also isn't the darkest black I've ever seen in a mascara and it seems a little flaky which is terrible for me since I wear contact lenses. If you're easier to please in the mascara department or if you love curved brushes this might be worth trying, but it's not a product I will ever use again.

L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara w/ Curved Brush

I have always liked the original L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara but I love this version! The brush really helps to curl my lashes and I still get the great Voluminous formula at the same time! Love it!

Fantastic!

I LOVE this mascara. It is absolutely fantastic, and probably even my favorite. I like regular voluminous mascara, but in this one the brush really makes a difference. The bristles are a bit more firm than on the regular brush, so it helps with separating lashes, and curving them at the same time. The mascara does not clump and does not flake during the day, my lashes stay perfect all day. It real...read morely builds volume very well, and also adds length, which is great. Another big plus for me is that mascara doesn't have any funky scents added to it (compared to some nightmarish lancome mascaras), doesn't irritate my eyes. It is very affordable, and I'll keep buying it. Hope l'oreal doesn't discontinue it!

Good mascara, buy it!

I bought this Voluminous Mascara with Curved Brush from L'Oreal Paris and I found it to be a very good mascara so I purchased it again and I recommended it to others as well. Both my mum and one of my friends got it and they were very happy with it also, they said it works wonders and makes black and fuller lashes than when you use other mascaras. The price was something like 15-20$?! really worth...read more the price I would say! It convinced me definitely and I would buy again and again. I usually do not like new mascaras, new as when it is freshly purchased, not new as a new choice that you had to make by changing an old, different mascara that you were using priorly. So I was saying that I do not like new mascaras because they tend to have to the brushes too full with product. You have to somehow clean the brush around the opening of the tube, especially the top of it because it will mess on your face, in the corners of the eyes. But then you make a mess around the opening of the tube, and I like to keep the recipients of my make up products clean, so this bothers me a little. After a while, the consistency and the ammount of the product is just right and it gets easier and pleasant to use it without feeling your lashes too heavy with mascara and messing around the eyes. This Voluminous Mascara with Curved Brush from L'Oreal Paris was not an exception, the brush had excess of product in the beginning, a sign of being new, but it did not clump or smudges around the eye, then or later. One thing that I do not like, again generally, and it applies to all the mascaras, even to the Diorshow one which is my very favorite 10 mark mascara, it is the bad bad smell. I totally dislike the smell of mascara. But besides that aspect, the Voluminous Mascara with Curved Brush from L'Oreal Paris is a good product, perhaps I would prefer it to the Maybelline mascaras if it would not be 2-3 times more expensive. Those mascaras are of such a superior quality although the brand is affordable in therms of the price of its products. I am totally in love with their big, fat mascaras. They are a good alternative to any other low cost mascara, even to the high priced ones. I found myself liking them almost as much as I like Diorshow mascara and that is a great mascara with a great cost too! One thing is common for all these mascaras that I have mentioned: they have the traditional hairy brush which I prefer to the new plastic brushed, I cannot stand this new trend for plastic brushed. The effect of a mascara is clearly diminished when having a plastic applicatior, in my opinion. I cannot get used to them!

Works for me

I really like this mascara. The brush is very soft, and the mascara is silky. Doesn't leave clumps (unless the bottle is old) and gives lots of volume.

It has its good parts and its bad parts

When I was first getting into makeup, I noticed my mom used this mascara. I always liked her eyelashes, they seemed so long and beautiful, and I felt like I'd been let in on a secret. This really does enhance the length of your lashes, however it DOES clump. I do not like the brush very much, and I've since moved onto other mascaras that I like better. I'm still rating this highly because I would purchase it again, it does the job very well and I would recommend it to other people.

Good stuff.

This is a good, basic mascara. It doesn't wow but it doesn't disappoint either. It provides decent length and some volume and it won't clump or flake. Great for a natural, every day look.
