LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!!!
I have been using L'Oreal Voluminous with the curved brush for years- and hope the never discontinue this!!! The texture of this mascara is everything I need for length and volume.... I don't need a lash curler with this mascara.. ever! I use up to 2 coats on my lashes and the look is very sultry and exotic.... I don't know what I would do without this mascara! I have been working with all kinds...read more of make up brands over the years (professional brands) on clients and recommend that they pick up this mascara over the professional ones, just for it's beautiful results! Mutilple Strokes
If you want your lashes to show up at all you will need to use multiple strokes with this one. The color is very matte and dull. I prefer a shiny finish on my lashes. Forget the eyelash curler!
The curved brush on this does an even better job! This mascara is amazing! The super curved brush does the work of 3 curlers, making my eyelashes look miles long,as well as thick and plump. It doesn't clump either! I might sound like a commercial but its true! The carbon black color really brings out the hazel in my eyes. Fantastic Choice!!
I have longer, average thickness eyelashes. This mascara adds appropriate thickness (not in a clumpy terrible mess way of thickness!) and lenghtens them even more. I wiggle it back and forth and swoop up and my eyelashes have the perfect boost in minutes. It is an easy mascara to control as well when a portion gets too built up! As good as the original
I've been using the Voluminous line for over 15 years now, with consistently good results – I just buy whichever formula is on sale. I do find the new "Naturale" produces results that are a little less rich and full, and the waterproof can be a pain to take off (soap and water doesn't do the trick, I have to use a lot of eye makeup remover). This version completely stands up to th...read moree original . Before trying Voluminous I had never found a mascara that really gave my thick but fine lashes the oomph I was looking for. The competitors either left my lashes looking spindly; or, worse, flaked off and irritated my eyes. The thick Voluminous brush reaches in to coat even my shortest, finest lashes, defining and extending them to their richest and fullest – without clumping, flaking, or looking fake. I routinely get compliments on my lashes – people think its me, not the mascara. (I even gave my sister-in-law Voluminous for her wedding day – trust me, I LIKE her!) My only complaint is the curved brush doesn't fit the contour of my lashes, so it misses the lashes on the inner and outer corners of my eyes. Urgh, more work. I get better results curling my lashes and using the original formula. A side note, I recently switched ALL of my makeup to Bare Escentuals – with only two exceptions. I have been using this mascara for years!
I have been using this mascara for years. I have extremely long eyelashes but they are not very full. This mascara thickens the lashes and is very moisturizing. It is also very easy to remove.
