BEST OF 40 YEARS!
Seriously, like most women, have tried dozens of mascaras over the 40+years I have been using it. Hands down, this is the best of all. It is perfect, to me. It truly is waterproof. I have swam in it , waterskied, snorkeled, scuba'd, snow skied, parasailed, cried, sweat profusely in it showered and it does not come off or give me raccoon eyes. I try new ones out, which have great reviews, but none have beat it yet! I wear contacts so cannot have it flake off in my eyes and this one doesn't. The primer is fabulous and makes my lashes look 2-3 times longer with it, and the mascara on top. One coat of primer, 2 coats of mascara is plenty. I always use black. I use a eyelash curler before, only. I am 62 but am regularly told I look in my early to mid 40's. Long Eyelashes help! I cannot understand, for the life of me , why anyone would not wear waterproof mascara to begin with! Mostly it seems women do not like to use mascara remover...why??? It makes any kind of mascara come off better, keeps your lashes in good shape and from being pulled out. It takes just a few minutes to work. I use the Almay pads and sometimes it takes 2 but so what?! They work great. I never sleep in mascara either. Keeps your lashes from falling out. I am wondering if I will ever find a mascara better than this one? Now have four samples to try; Blinc waterproof tubes, Bad Gal,Tarte waterproof and Elizabeth Arden. Best Mascara
I have tried many mascaras over the last 35 years from the most expensive to inexpensive. This mascara beats them all. The primer really lengthens and the mascara itself glides on without clumping. I have been using this product since it was introduced! I am now prego and cry a LOT (hormones)! and it hasn't failed me yet. Marine tested....
I have used this mascara and it's non-waterproof sister for about 4 yrs and am a loyal customer. As a Marine I have worn it in combat through sand storms and in full combat gear in 110 degree weater. It has withstood the burning tears shed after the gas chamber filled with CS gas. I never have to "check" for raccoon eyes and always feel like a glam gal; combat boots or little black dress! In my opinion this is the miracle mascara that I had been loking for. I havebeen using it for 2 years now, and love it. L'Oreal Double Extend Waterproof Mascara
I love this mascara and began using it when their Featherlash mascara was discontinued but I must disagree with the price, it is $8.99 not $5.99. No raccoon eyes!!!!
This mascara, and it's non-waterproof sister, are the absolute best mascaras I've ever used, and 51yrs old, I've used a LOT of mascaras. Every, and I mean EVERY other mascara I've ever used left me with raccoon eyes, most of them clumped, and all of them got so thick and dry so fast I had to replace them every few weeks (or risk infection and put a drop of water in). This mascara goes on smooth, thickens my lashes without that horrible Tammy Faye Baker look, and stays looking great until I take it off (even when I've forgotten to take it off before bed and slept on it.) An extra added tip
I Use L'Oreal Paris... Voluminous Original & the Double Extended Mascara. Both work well 2gether or alone. I find that using the Double Extended mascara you can, after applying the primer, before you put the mascara on; you can take white eye shadow, rub your index finger so that you coat your finger. With the white shadow on your finger, dab it on to your lashes (w/ the primer on them) It will coat them & allow your lashes to be thicker. Than apply a thin coat of the Double Extended mascara. Your lashes will become thicker, enough to cover most of the primer & white shodow. Than use the Volummous Original mascara to extend them better. Both work well together to give you Thick & longer lashes.
