I like this gel and it did enough to keep my waves in place. But it did not fight frizz for long. It wasn't successful keeping my baby hairs down when I put my hair in a ponytail. I am on the fence about this product. I love the way it smells, but I find it to be a bit sticky and tacky (yes I realize it is a gel). If you are not careful, it can make your hair really crunchy. This does give your hair a smooth and frizzless finish especially after using a diffuser. Not a must product, but if you struggle with frizz and flyaways this product does the job and for a reasonable price.
