Sephora FACE Eye Makeup Remover Reviews

A bit greasy
This is the product they have out for removing the products you test around the store. I always find that it leaves my skin feeling a bit greasy and take a bit of work to get the product off. Still, it is quite gentle and good for sensitive skin. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Fall short
While I was able to remove eye shadow fairly well, it took a lot of rubbing to get off a regular mascara and eye liner with this remover. That's a serious no-no for me. Also, I had to soak a cotton pad for the second time. I followed-up with a facial cleanser and rinsed my face. But still, when I used my towel to pat-dry, there was black stain on the towel from mascara! At least, it was a non-greasy formula, had a pleasant scent, and although I had to swipe over my eyelids a few times, fortunately, it did not irritate my eyes. It was something like $6, but I did not re-purchase it. I miss my Nivea eye make-up remover... — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Good value
This is non-greasy, gentle, skin-soothing. Sephora's waterproof make up remover is a pretty easy to use and effect remover. I usually always wear layers and layers of waterproof mascara which ends up being pretty hard to remove. This remover is not a miracle worker but it at least removes 70% of the make up it claims to. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Works as well as...water.
I bought this because it was one of the cheaper eye makeup removers in Sephora, but it did not work near as well as other brands such as Clinique. This barely got off my mascara and eyeliner without copious amounts of effort (and strain on my skin). It didn't dry out my skin, but it irritated my eyes. Of course it removed eyeshadow because well...anything removes eyeshadow. I would not purchase this again, and would suggest that potential buyers pay a little more for something that actually works. — 4 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not good at all!
I was so disappointed in this product! It burned my eyes, didn't remove my eye makeup and dried out the skin under my eyes. It took a lot of the liquid to even get it to budge. I don't care for this formula at all. I hope it's been improved since I tried it. I've had better luck with drugstore brands than this one. — 4 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Terrible, waste of money
Okay so I bought this thinking it HAD to be better than Neutrogena's eye makeup removing wipes, but boy was I wrong. For about $6 you get blue water than really doesn't do anything. It takes off a little bit of makeup, but I have to go through 4 cottonballs per eye just to get my mascara off (and I don't even wear waterproof mascara!) Also, the product's claim that it strengthens your lashes is a little far fetched. I always felt the conditioning element of the Neutrogena eye makeup remover was much more conducive to strengthening than this stuff. In other words, stick with the drug store version! — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

I do not recommend this!
I have always used eye make up remover. I was looking for something that was not oily. This product was not oily at all, but did not take my eye make up off entirely. I was left with make up smudges both above and below my eyes. — 3 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

not for my sensitive eyes
This one takes too much work on my part. Others dissolve the makeup away, while this one takes quite a bit of rubbing. It often leaves my sensitive eyes irritated too. — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Save your money...
I bought this and was really disappointed. This does not work at all! I had to rub and rub my eyes which really burned and probably gave me pre-mature wrinkles! — 4 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Find something else
This stuff is really bad. Using baby wipes work better than this. I was not able to get waterproof mascara off very fast and eyeliner was bad as well. I soaked cotton pads in this stuff and held it to my eye for a long time to try and soften everything up but it still took forever to get any progress — 4 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful
