works on even the darkest hair
As a natural brunette, visible body hair has always been a problem for me, but I'm too big of a pain wimp to wax and hair remover creams don't work on me. I decided to give this a try to use on my arms and stomach. The tingling sensation takes some getting used to but even my darkest hairs were bleached. Love it!
This is the only bleach I use, because it works better than anything else I've tryed and it doesn't get everywhere and isn't sloppy. use this often!
This is a great product if you don't want to shave your arm hairs or stomach hairs. You have to do it every 3 months, as new hair starts growing, you can see two shades of hair! I've used this on my arms for about 3 yrs. It never bleached my arm hais blonde. The hairs got lighter, but not blonde. After using for a while w/ lttle results; did web research. I ended up adding more bleach in mix, wrapped my arms in saran wrap, & leaving on for 1/2 hr. My arms were red, but the hairs were beautifully blonde! Applied lotion after & went to town. Had One Issue...
This worked very well. My arm hair was completely blonde and I felt so much better. But as I looked down I realized it didnt only bleach my skin... my color where I had applied the bleach was about two shades lighter. I just used it a couple minutes ago and I hope it will soon regenerate back to my normal skin tone. Look for another product
I've been using facial hair bleaching creme for a long time. This is the first time I used Sally Hansen Extra Strength Creme Hair Bleach for face and body and it will be the last. It burned patches of skin around my mouth. Now it looks like acne scars. I really hope it goes away soon. Stinky, but it works.
This stuff works, but you have to use it correctly. I use it on my facial hair because other methods just make me break out. I recommend a patch test if you have sensitive skin, though, and you can experiment with using more of the creme to dilute the sting of the bleach. Wash your face with a gentle wash (Purpose is my favorite) and cold water, then use the pre-conditioning treatment it comes with. I don't know what it does, but it helps bleach all of your hair! I apply opposite the direction of hair growth to get every nook and cranny. It will sting a bit (especially if you're on skin medications), but after 8 - 10 minutes I like to hop in the shower and gently wash my face again to get rid of any bleach remnants. I top it all off with 100% aloe vera gel to help fight the redness and I'm good to go until the bleached hair naturally falls out and my normal hair color grows in its place (which takes a couple of weeks). — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

pretty good, but...
