A no-frills face wash
This is one of the two face washes I buy regularly. It just leaves the skin simply clean. It does not add any moisturizers, nor does it strip your skin of its own. It also doesn't have any irritants like salicylic acid or heavy perfumes. Need a little more cleaning power

Its okay
You will love this product if you don't wear alot of makeup. It leaves your face feeling so clean and refreshed. Freshest Face!
I love love love this product. This facial cleanser is the only face wash I am able to use on my face. It is gentle enough that it does not dry out my skin, yet it is strong enough to take off all of my make-up. I know, weird right? I have tried so many different products but this is the only one face wash that washes the skin right and effectively. This product is great for combination type skin (oily and dry) and it is cheap too! You'd never think a cheap product would be so great. Gentle and Effective
Neutrogena is one of my favorite brands. They almost always deliver great quality products at a reasonable price. Fair, but Not Quite
It's not that effective as a makeup remover, and I thought it would depend on how much makeup one cakes on; but I hardly wear much and it still gave me trouble. Just left me with tingling eyes. It does give a fresh feeling as its surface cleaning ability is quite good. I think it depends also on the skin type. I have oily, acne prone skin, and it never really helped me much, but my sister with normal skin says its great. Just OK
After using this facewash for several weeks I started to notice my skin drying out and my nose peeling. It also started to dry my skin out. I switched to another cleanser and the problem was solved. I have been a loyal J&J user, but just can't seem to get into this cleanser. Gentle and effective

My favorite for 10 years
I have been using this face wash for more than 10 years and I love it. My dermatologist recommends Neutrogena products and I have always been happy with this one. I don't wear alot of eye makeup but I do wear foundation, concealer and powder and this wash gets all my makeup off. Good for certain tasks...
I find this to be the easiest, cheapest face wash to remove makeup. Prior to this I had used products that either felt too harsh or didn't take any makeup off.
