Smooth!
This is one of the first foundation primers I ever used, what seems like a lifetime ago! At it's inception, this was a revolutionary product-- and it has stood the test of time. I love the way this primer feels, and it gives a smooth "slip" to the skin which makes my foundation wear very well. I just wish it did a better job at controlling shine. I think there's a huge design flaw in the packaging though, because once you work your way closer the the end of the bottle-- it's really hard to get it out with the pump. The primer sticks to the side of the bottle, causing waste if you don't feel like being creative enough to try to get it out. It's good, don't get me wrong. great primer

I love this product. As soon as I apply Smashbox Primer, my pores disappear and my skin becomes like satin. I have combination skin and this effects neither my oily or dry zones. My make up lasts all day. Next time you are just browsing for a primer, ask for a sample of the Photo Finish. Apply it at a time when you have a clean face.You will instantly see your complexion even out and feel the texture of your skin soften. The amount you need to cover your face is minimal so $36 will go a long way. It also comes in sample sizes and Sephora. loved it enough I used it for my wedding
The claim is that it provides a perfect base for a foundation for a flawless natural look. Smashbox says that it helps minimize the appearance of fine lines as well as be light feeling and long lasting. I like it, the primer does have a light feel – almost like a silicone feel. It goes on really smoothly and lasts. It lets me use half as much of my foundation or tinted moisturizer since those don’t soak into my skin really anymore. After using I saw fewer/smaller pores, a more refined texture, and somewhat fewer fine lines and wrinkles. I would recommend this. Aside from the benefits of helping your skin’s textural appearance it does let you use less of your other product, and if you have a $60.00 foundation like me, you will like that. I should mention that there are some of these that have a tint to them. My new go-to product!
I love anything to do with beauty and wanted to revamp my collection after being inspired by magazines and advertisements for new products. That being said, over the past month I have made it a mission to find great makeup products that I have never used before. I found everything from eye shadow to lip balm, but this product is my favorite June find! I have never been a big primer user, but I now use it all the time now for any occasion! It is my new go-to product! Smashbox did a great job of making a makeup product that goes on smooth and lasts for a long time without creating any smudging or melting off. Not only does the primer feel great on my skin, but it also makes my face look flawless in photos! There are no more dark circles under my eyes being seen and the primer does not make my sometimes-sensitive skin brake out! This was very important to me in a beauty product seeing that other brands have made this happen before. There were no blemishes or red spots to be seen on my face. It helped cover any little flaw and helped me feel ready for anything whether it be a lunch with the girlfriends, a date with the beau, or a night out on the town! Defiantly worth the money to buy because it is reliable and works for any given situation. I am positive that once it runs out I will purchase it again without thinking twice about another brand’s foundation primer. I have told all my friends and sorority sisters about it and recommend it with an A+! Some have even gone out and bought the product already due to its great reviews. This is too great to pass up! Excellent
Definitely one of my favorites. It applies really smoothly and really evens out your face and shrinks the appearance of your pores. On some of my casual days, I just apply this without any makeup because it makes my skin look almost perfect and feel incredibly soft. It definitely does its job; no matter how sweaty I get or how long my day is, my makeup stays put. I've tried it as an eye makeup primer though and it wasn't very good, so you'll probably need a separate primer for that. I'm only giving it 8 stars because of the price, it is way too expensive for my student budget. Save Your Money!
