I didn't think I needed this ...
I've always had nice skin, so I would never have tried this if I hadn't received a sample of it. Oh my goodness, after applying this over moisturizer and under foundation, I had commercial-ready skin that felt like silk. Best of all, my combo skin usually starts to flake by the end of the day, taking my foundation with it, but this primer kept everything in place over a 10-hour workday. Pretty good
Probably the best primer I've used, but just a bit expensive. Makes your skin matte, makeup will just look better. Make sure you moisturize really well and let the lotion sink in before you put the Smashbox on top of it! As a 33 yr old who suddenly became acne prone at 28, this product helps smooth the challenges i have. Happy to see that there is now a skin type specific type for my skin. This primer is fantastic. It creates a beautiful, smooth canvas for foundation (powder or liquid) and gives real staying power. It goes on smoothly and lasts all day. I have combination skin and it doesn't make my skin oily or dry. It feels silky smooth! I would recommend this for anyone who is tired of foundation sinking into pores or fine lines. Surprisingly effective
I got a bottle of this as part of a set and wasn't sure I would ever use it, but after one try I became a believer. It feels great on my skin, keeps my mineral makeup on all day, and wards off shine. I have tried a few other brands of primer, but this one has the best texture (easy to apply and non-greasy). It is rather pricey, but one bottle lasted me months with daily use. Also, it saves me some money by preventing me from having to reapply my makeup during the day. Doesn't Live Up To The Hype
I know this is supposed to be the best on the market, but it didn't live up to its hype for me and a few friends, too.
