I bought this because my other makeup remover was too big to go in my carry-on. It does an okay job. I don't mind the smell but the bottle does tend to get a little messy. It does leave oily residue so I have to wash my face afterwards (although I need to do that nightly anyways!), Additionally, it makes your vision a little blurry when it gets in your eyes. I do NOT use this or any makeup remover on my lips--too weird. I really love this makeup remover because it works great on my skin, and doesn't make a smudged mess. It removes tough makeup that is waterproof and doesn't dry my skin. I bought a Covergirl Exact Eyelights waterproof mascara and my Lancome remover would not remove the mascara, so I bought this one. It does work, but it burns my eyes and my eyes water for about the next 6 hours. I won't buy it again, but I also don't like the mascara I bought it for.
