CoverGirl Clean Makeup Remover for Eyes & Lips Reviews

Decent product!
I bought this because my other makeup remover was too big to go in my carry-on. It does an okay job. I don't mind the smell but the bottle does tend to get a little messy. It does leave oily residue so I have to wash my face afterwards (although I need to do that nightly anyways!), Additionally, it makes your vision a little blurry when it gets in your eyes. I do NOT use this or any makeup remover on my lips--too weird. A decent value, but think I'll stick w/Neutrogena's product. — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great Cleanser
I really love this makeup remover because it works great on my skin, and doesn't make a smudged mess. It removes tough makeup that is waterproof and doesn't dry my skin. It works great as a cleanser and keeps my face feeling fresh. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

JUST AVERAGE
I was running low on my usual eye makeup remover, Loreal Clean Artiste, and had recently purchased a CG waterproof mascara that would not budge with the Loreal product, even though it is made for waterproof mascara. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I decided to try this product. As luck would have it, it actually was able to remove the mascara and the proof was the next morning; no smudges! However, the smell is odd; sort of like yogurt or sour cream. The product is a little runny and the package is a poor design for that. It does make eyes "blurry" after using, but that is to be expected with an oil based remover. I also thought the value was not that great. I paid almost $4 and when I took the bottle out of the package, I was surprised at how narrow the bottle is. My search continues... — 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

its ok
This does take your makeup off but it really bothered my eyes. After I used it the skin around my eyes was red and tender. Wouldnt use it again. — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Not for me
I honestly wouldn't buy this product again. My eyes were blurry after using this and it was like I had babyoil in my eyes and no one likes that. — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Has lasted the test of time-
I have used this for many years and try others but come back to Cover Girl Makeup Remover. Lasts, gentle, not oily and the price is right. — 3 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Burns my eyes
I bought a Covergirl Exact Eyelights waterproof mascara and my Lancome remover would not remove the mascara, so I bought this one. It does work, but it burns my eyes and my eyes water for about the next 6 hours. I won't buy it again, but I also don't like the mascara I bought it for. It could be combo of the two that burn my eyes, as the mascara makes my eyes water a bit when I put it on. — 3 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
