Forget it!
Maybelline is the go to for mascara. They just came out with a new one - it's like 2 mascara in one. On click of the wand is to thicken and the other to separate. Not a fan
I got this as a sample and used it this last weekend and did not like it at all. It goes on so thick and clumpy. My eyelashes were a mess with this and no matter how I changed the angle of the brush, tried to wipe off excess mascara before applying, it always went on as a big mess and ended up getting everywhere! Hated it

Good Free Mascara
Around your Birthday, if you're on the list, you get a free beauty treat from Sephora. This year were some eye make-up goodies. The mascara (volume black) was similar to drug store mascaras in my opinion. I don't regularly wear mascara, so I'm not the person to really ask but the mascara seemed to coat my lashes without clumping, and it seemed to blacken my lashes all evening. It came off easily with cream cleanser. slight volume but not much more
i received a sample size of this in my birthday pack from sephora and probably won't purchase a full size one. while i didn't encounter any of the flaking problems other reviewers did, this mascara just didn't do much for my lashes. they looked only slightly thicker but they also stuck together, resulting in a spiky lashed look - not the look i was going for! also, when applied after curling my lashes, this mascara seemed to uncurl them =( — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Volume...I think so!
I rec'd a sample of this and didn't think too much of trying it out - I love my Pur Minerals mascara, however I kinda really LOVE this mascara. It reminds me of MAC X with a little more kick! I've been blessed with naturally long lashes so this addes extra "umph". I haven't experienced any clumping or flaking and the application is perfect. It looks natural but you can also build coats for more "drama". Uneffective
With the texture of cornstarch mixed with water, I found this formula to be very drying which makes the eyelashes feel brittle and unembellished. Will not buy again!

Works for thin lashes
I think the brush could have been deigned better (aka less cheapy), but i love the consistency of the formula. I have very short and thin lashes. I can curl my lashes, put on two coats of this mascara, and not worry about clumping or weighing down my lashes. I love how much thicker my lashes look after this mascara. Surpisingly Worth it!
I had recieved a free sample as a birthday gift set you get when you are a sephora inside, but anyway. I didnt have very high hopes but i tried it once and it workes so well! It gives every lash very good definition and length!
