Good, not great

awsome cleanser
Does dry skin a bit but just use a heavy moisturizer and it really cleans. The salicylic acid exfoliates and brightens your skin. Smells a little medicinal.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 9 people said helpful

Great!
My skin tends to be stubborn. Like some points it may be dry. But then it has a mood swing and becomes oily. This acne wash is perfect for people with weird skin, haha. It's like soap, and cleared up a lot of my acne! Best wash I've ever used!
My dermatologist recommended this to me since it has salicylic acid in it which helps my skin, and I've never looked back. Never Again
This was the only Neutrogena product or ANY product, for that matter, that made my skin react the way it did. After two uses my skin started to dry out (and I have combination skin) then it started burning and peeling. It took a week for my skin to actually heal. Great for oily skin
This product is very mild and works great! It gives you that nice, clean feeling. I like that it's not too strong, unlike some other cleansers. Perfect for oily skin. Don't use if you have dry skin. Great everyday facewash
I've been using this since I was 14 -- so 11 years now. I use it just about every night. My skin can't live without it otherwise I start to break out. It does dry a little, but that is fixed by moisturizing afterwards. Also, do not use any make up with salicylic acid in it along with this because your skin will completely dry out and peel. Not too shabby!
Gives a good lather and is easy to use and distribute on the face. This is a very drying product but it is a clear gel that has 2% salicylic acid - that should be expected. This product does a great job at cleaning my skin and getting rid of the dead skin and makeup buildup throughout the day - my face feels very clean after washing it. I have combination skin and I've been using this product ...read moreevery morning and evening and I use a moisturizer only in the morning. This has pretty much solved my combination skin problem. My skin is now closer to normal and has a smooth texture (sans some acne on my cheeks). It hasn't done much for my acne, but it has only been a 2 weeks so I will keep using it. I started using this in my teens and I hated it but now that I am 22 and still have acne, I decided to give it another go and now I feel that its a great product for the price. acne wash?!
This stuff did nothing for my breakouts (pimples) I used the entire bottle and it didnt even help prevent me from getting new ones. I have combination skin and it helped with that. But acne wash?!
