This mascara has a small brush, I like the one with the huge brush. When I wear it, it's not very clumpy but the formula is sort of wet. But, after a few uses and it dries a bit, it is easier to work with. A so-so mascara. I don't care for the brush--I personally feel that brushes with more bristles/"fluffier" bristles do a better job evenly spreading out mascara and not clumping. I have sparse, almost invisible lashes. This mascara does give my lashes a bit of length and volume but not quite enough. Moments ago, I just applied the dark brown mascara to both my eyes. On my right eye, I curled my lashes and that really makes the difference. My left eyelashes feel droopy and plain uncomfortable. Whereas my right eye doesn't have the same effect. The mascara is not all dramatic so it's great for everyday wear. I think this is a great beginning mascara for young girls as well. It's also one of the cheapest mascara on the market so that's always a plus! As so many others have said, I know people love this mascara but I am not one of them. For the price, and with the reviews I had read, I decided to try this. I was not impressed at all. It immediately clumped on my eyelashes to the point I had to take it off. I have a decent amount of longer lashes and this was a disaster. I'm not sure why there is such a divide with this product! Maybe it works best for shorter lashes? The only drugstore mascara I can use is the Loreal Voluminous Mascara. It is volumizing, longer wearing, and a value for the price. Alot of people love this mascara, i'm not one of them. it was a good price, but not worth it for me. It smeared after about 5 hours of wear, and it was clumpy when I applied it. my mom used this mascara for years! and she never had a problem with it, she just wanted a little more volume. this mascara doesnt add much volume, but it does look really pretty when you curl your lashes. and, it never looks spidery. this stuff is GREAT! I tried this mascara a while back because I have read over and over that this was the best mascara to use. I was very disappointed with this product. When I put it barely darkened my lahes and didn't much else. I ended up throwing it away because my sister didn't even want it which is pretty rare. This mascara has a huge cult following and I do not understand why. It is an OK mascara, at best. It does coat my lashes evenly but it does not lengthen or pump them with volume. I like that it comes in a few colors but they are not very pigmented. Also I think the packaging is really ugly.
