Life-saver!
I have bad, bad acne-prone skin. The only thing that seemed to help was 10% benzoyl peroxide, which made the acne go away slightly - but not really. Then I stumbled across this product on this website, read some good reviews, and decided to give it a a go! One of the reviewers said that Wal-Mart carries their Equate version of this cream that is closer to the original formula, so I tried that (it'...read mores only a dollar less and you still get the same amount. The Equate version just has fewer oils). Within a few days, my skin instantly looked healthier, moisturized, and I haven't gotten a bit of horrible acne since! I use it morning and night and use the benzoyl peroxide every other day to keep any lingering acne in check. But this is amazing - it's so cleansing and leaves my face feeling so clean and fresh! I use make-up remover before I use this just to make sure my face is completely clean. It does leave a film on your skin, but that's just the oils in the cream itself - and eucalyptus oil is a great antimicrobial agent. Not what I was hoping
I had great hopes for this product because of the description. When I think Deep Cleansing, I expect deep cleansing. This does nothing to get the makeup off my face. Although I love the smell and the moisturizing aspect, you still need a makeup remover or cleanser before. When I wash with Noxzema, there is still makeup coming off on my cotton ball with my toner. Noxzema
Noxzema claims to rid of pimples and blackheads while moisturizing your skin. BELIEVE IT! I use this stuff once to twice a day. It works wonderfully for preventing zits, but it also doesn't overdry my skin. I love it. I can feel how clean my face is. My face feels less greasy all day up until evening. I think it works wonders. I pay the $4.99 for it in stores. To me it's worth it. Between me and my man it lasts about a month and a half. I am in love with this cobalt blue jar because it holds the secret to beautiful skin. I have oily and sensitive skin and most cleansers dry out my face too much but Noxzema is a miracle worker. So refreshing....
This is a wonderful product. It leaves you feeling so refreshed. I've used it on my face for years but have now tried using it on my legs. Makes them feel wonderful, especially if you use it when you shave. I will continue to use this product and suggest it's refreshing ways to all my friends! I stayed away from this product for years.
I stayed away from this product for years because a dermo guy told me it was bad. On a whim I bought some (some 20 yrs. ago) and it has been my morning shower staple ever since. Refreshing cooling tingly
I bought noxzema for the first time about a year ago. I bought the reallllly small travel sized jar and it has lasted me ever since. That wasn't the only cleanser I was using, but I used for vacation and just if i wanted that nice cooling tingly sensation. Except I think it is muchhh better than that. The problem with ponds is that it doesn't feel like it is cleaning, at least with noxzema you can feel the eucalyptis oil, which also makes it smell wonderful compared to ponds which smells like old people. The only bad part is that ponds cold cream moisturizes much better than noxzema. Noxzema is different...in a bad way!
Eww has anyone opened up a jar of Noxzema lately? It doesn't even SMELL like Noxzema!! I went to Walmart last week and wanted to get a new jar, but noticed that the jar looked different and it definitely smelled different! So I looked on the back of the jar and noticed that there were new ingredients added to it AND that Proctor and Gamble was no longer the manufacturer. Proctor and Gamble owned N...read moreoxzema for like 15 years but this past year Alberto Culver bought Noxzema and has added some new ingredients as well as changing the look of the jar. However, I DID buy Walmart's version of Noxzema (Equate) and not only does it have the same ingredients that Proctor and Gamble used but it also actually smells like Noxzema! I won't be buying the brand name Noxzema anymore because of the newly added ingredients and because it just doesn't smell like the Noxzema I know and love. Equate is just as good and you get more for less! I also noticed that it's much easier to scoop out and it's creamier.
