Pros and Cons
Pros: I like the tingly feeling from the menthol and eucalyptus. I feel like it removes oil, dirt and makeup well. I have used this product for multiple years now. I have sensitive skin and find that most skin-care products only irritate my skin more. However, no matter how much I use this product, it never irritates it. The Same Then and Now
I have used this product since I was a teenager. It's still the same great cleanser now. My face has combination skin and it doesn't dry it out or make it oily, just clean. Use the toner after you wash, then apply Noxzema lightly to your face. The next morning your face will be nice and soft. makeup remover
I never had luck with this as a cleanser for my sensitve skin, but it is great for make-up removal! Throughout my years as a dancer, this is the ONLY thing that was effective at removing the pounds of stage makeup i had slathered on. Life-saver!
I have bad, bad acne-prone skin. The only thing that seemed to help was 10% benzoyl peroxide, which made the acne go away slightly - but not really. Then I stumbled across this product on this website, read some good reviews, and decided to give it a a go! One of the reviewers said that Wal-Mart carries their Equate version of this cream that is closer to the original formula, so I tried that (it's only a dollar less and you still get the same amount. The Equate version just has fewer oils). Within a few days, my skin instantly looked healthier, moisturized, and I haven't gotten a bit of horrible acne since! I use it morning and night and use the benzoyl peroxide every other day to keep any lingering acne in check. But this is amazing - it's so cleansing and leaves my face feeling so clean and fresh! I use make-up remover before I use this just to make sure my face is completely clean. It does leave a film on your skin, but that's just the oils in the cream itself - and eucalyptus oil is a great antimicrobial agent. In short, I love this stuff and can't wait to see how my skin looks in a few months. Not what I was hoping
I had great hopes for this product because of the description. When I think Deep Cleansing, I expect deep cleansing. This does nothing to get the makeup off my face. Although I love the smell and the moisturizing aspect, you still need a makeup remover or cleanser before. When I wash with Noxzema, there is still makeup coming off on my cotton ball with my toner. Noxzema
Noxzema claims to rid of pimples and blackheads while moisturizing your skin. BELIEVE IT! I use this stuff once to twice a day. It works wonderfully for preventing zits, but it also doesn't overdry my skin. I love it. I can feel how clean my face is. My face feels less greasy all day up until evening. I think it works wonders. I pay the $4.99 for it in stores. To me it's worth it. Between me and my man it lasts about a month and a half.
