Noxzema Original Deep Cleansing Cream Reviews

A Proven Cleanser Over the Years!
There is always a tub of Noxzema's "Original Deep Cleansing Cream" in my bathroom. Why? I enjoy the feel of the satiny emulsion on my hands as much as I do on my face! Camphor helps gives it the refreshing smell and tingling sensation, but other ingredients include Linseed and Soybean Oils, but it also has Eucalyptus Leaf Oil and Baking Soda! I find that it removes makeup well, although I don't use it around my eyes, and it leaves me feeling invigorated, my complexion hydrated and comforted. — 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Noxzema
This has worked on and off for me for a number of years. I've used it for awhile with good resullts, but then my skin would start breaking out. I do like the tingling sensation and the consistency, but it was inconsistent with how it affected my skin. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 6 people said helpful

Not the best cleanser...
I have the Noxzema Deep Cleansing Cream for Normal/Dry Skin Plus Moisturizers. The tub reads "Noxzema Plus...that Noxzema deep clean with added moisturizers. For clean, healthy-looking skin, use Noxzema every time you wash. Noxzema Plus gives you that trusted Noxzema deep clean with added moisturizers to condition skin. You can feel Noxzema working as it removes dirt, oil and makeup without overdrying. The water-based formula with camphor, menthol and eucalyptus tingles and refreshes skin, leaving it feeling clean, soft and smooth." PROS: Tingly feel. CONS: Tingly feel. Menthol smell. As product gets lower, it will be more difficult to get out of the tub container. Leaves an oily residue that sits on top of the skin, doesn't feel moisturizing (while the first ingredient is water, many of the ingredients are oils). My face does not feel clean after washing (although it hasn't given me any breakouts, but that's probably b/c of the Accutane I'm on!). I got this on clearance, so I might just end up throwing it away. I'll try and use it though, maybe only at night (and Cetaphil in the morning). It says for Normal/Dry skin and my skin is super dry right now, but it doesn't really moisturize... Would nor recommend for Normal skin. — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 11 people said helpful

Classic
I really love this stuff, and there's a reason why it's been around so long, it works wonders on skin! I grew up with this smell because my grandmother used it every morning and night and now I'm hooked too. Leaves my skin soft and clean (unless I've had a bad day and I've layers on my make up then I use a different method before Noxema). You can't say no to it! — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

Pretty good!
I really like this product! It does the job, keeps your face clear of impurities and does not smell too bad (in my opinion it smells great, but my friend hates the smell of this product). It could be too drying if you use it too frequently, but that's why I only use it once a day, or once every other day, depending on the condition of my skin that day, or the amount of activity I'm doing. Great on the go, or for traveling too. The price is not bad. in my opinion, one of the best cleansing pads out there to prevent acne. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Excellent product!
I don't use this product as a cleanser (not since my teens), but I keep a huge jar under my sink at all times anyway. Why? Because it's the best treatment I have ever found for a sunburn. With my fair skin I often get burned no matter how diligent I am with the sunblock. I slather on a layer of this creamy cool Noxema cleanser, let it sit for 2-5 minutes, then I rinse it off in the shower. It takes the heat right out of the burn and moisturizes the damaged skin. For bad burns I'll do this for two or three showers in a row, but it really helps speed healing and I almost never peel. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 8 people said helpful

Great Cleanser
This product worked really well on my face as a cleanser and a great makeup remover. I like that it cleans out my pores and doesn't feel heavy. It feels cool and great for using everyday for clean skin. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Great for summer
This is a great cleanser in the morning. The tingling sensation will certainly wake you up! It helps me fight the oiliness in my skin. It helps to keep my pores clear so my acne is more under control. I love the menthol smell. Reminds me when my grandmother would buy this for me when I was a pre-teen. I find it fun to use this all the way down to the bottom of the tub, trying to scoop it all out. This also works great if you have a sunburn. Helps to cool the skin!!! This would receive all 10 stars but the only thing it doesn't really do that well is remove eye makeup. I have another cleanser that does that for me. Other than that, it's a great product that works!!! — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful
