  I bought this in "maritime". I'm a big fan of blues, even though my eyes are hazel. I must say, that I was hoping the colors would show up a little more. The shadow applied smooth and lasted me a while, but I was hoping that the two darker shades would be...well...darker. I had to get the applicator wet to get the... medium shade the way I wanted it, but everyone is different. I think that it was worth the price I paid for it, and I think I'm going to go back and try a different trio. I would recommend this to someone who likes to stay on the light side of eyeshadow.   I have dark pigmentation around my eyes (think Middle Easter-ish), and the color was barely noticable. Even with a base, the color wasn't deep. This might work better for fair skined girls who want soft shades of purple. May 28, 2008, 12:01 am

  Shadow anyone?

  The colors are always good combinations. This shadow lasts but not as long as I'd hoped. I was hoping for something darker, but if you're looking for a lighter effect then this is the shadow for you. I absolutely love Rimmel, and even the littlest effect is noticeable. But if you do want something more dramatic, don't choos...e this shadow. May 22, 2008, 9:46 am

  Ok, but color fades...FAST.

  For the price, this is far better than any other bargain eyeshadow. However, the colors shown aren't typically what you see on your face. Colors are much fainter and typically wear off in a short period of time, but again, for the price, it is tough to beat. December 11, 2007, 7:09 am

  Becoming my new fav drugstore brand...

  Rimmel has slowly become my new favorite drugstore brand-mostly for eyeshadow,eye liner and mascaras. I love the Color Rush trios and the color combos. I have about 4-5 of the them and they go on great. Yes, I wish they were more pigmented but hey for the price what more can I ask for? If the color is a bit to light I jus...t go over it a couple times or use them wet. With a base the shadow stays on pretty long (wouldn't say ALL day). Overall, I would say it is a good quality product for the price. June 1, 2010, 11:48 am

  It applies evenly, but I wish the colors were more intense. It wears ok, but not for hours. It's an ok everyday shadow, October 11, 2009, 11:01 pm

  This eyeshadow trio is pretty subtle, which I prefer. It provides the opportunity to blend well and all 3 colors go great together. I have the trio of purple colors and I like it. If I want light color I just swipe once with the brush, if I want darker I have to do like 6 swipes which = a LOT of eyeshadow that still does...n't turn out too dark. However, this is a really affordable little trio and I enjoy it and want more! April 3, 2009, 8:28 pm

  I bought this in a trio of subtle browns. Subtle is right! They go on very light and are perfect for every day at the office. And, as everyone else has mentioned, you can't beat the price. I'm going back for more colors! August 12, 2008, 10:48 am
