Not bad for the price
Walgreens had these on sale the other day for 50% off so I bought 3 of them for $3 each. For the price I paid I liked them. They went on smoothly and lasted the evening I wore them. Just worth the $4.99 price-tag...
I got this shadow trio in the exact shades shown. I was looking for some new purples that weren't too dark and had a lot of depth. I love these colors (and the other trio options as well)...but this shadow doesn't stay true-to-color on your skin and doesn't last. I left the house looking okay (after applying shadow primer)...but by my lunch break the color was almost all gone! It was like the ...read moreshadow had just jumped off my eyes! That never happens to me! Also, the colors just didn't look as bright on my eyes as they did in the pallate. It is a smooth consistancy...and might work okay for a few hours or if you're willing to re-apply. I'm just not going to invest the time. I'm sad. Okay
I have dark pigmentation around my eyes (think Middle Easter-ish), and the color was barely noticable. Even with a base, the color wasn't deep. Shadow anyone?
The colors are always good combinations. This shadow lasts but not as long as I'd hoped. I was hoping for something darker, but if you're looking for a lighter effect then this is the shadow for you. I absolutely love Rimmel, and even the littlest effect is noticeable. Love it.
I bought this in "maritime". I'm a big fan of blues, even though my eyes are hazel. I must say, that I was hoping the colors would show up a little more. The shadow applied smooth and lasted me a while, but I was hoping that the two darker shades would be...well...darker. Ok, but color fades...FAST.
For the price, this is far better than any other bargain eyeshadow. However, the colors shown aren't typically what you see on your face.
