Mediocre Mascara

My heart was beating wildly when I first opened Urban Decay's "Skyscraper Multi-Benefit Mascara." The pliable, purple blush showed such promise! UD claims that "this monumental breakthrough will lengthen, strengthen, separate, curl, brighten, and thicken your lashes sans clumping or flaking." Those are bold claims--and the mascara didn't live up to them. I had some increase in length and a bit...read more in volume, but basically my lashes were simply tinted. It was mediocre at best.

My UD Skyscrapper is a rubbery deep purple tube...

and it has regular small, plastic bristles. I find the formula to be voluminous and made my lashes curl up a bit. It is a little pricey but the packaging is adorable and feels great in hand while applying. The rubbery surface lets me have a firm grip for when I get in close to the smaller hairs. The tube is pretty large and this has not flaked on me yet!

Perf!

I really love this mascara. It stays on a long time and grips each one of my lashes so that they all get curled. Great for getting those pesky lashes on the end. Love it!

Urban Decay Skycraper Mascara

This mascara is terrible! It clumps so badly I looked like i had three thick lashes. I am returning this mascara.

I love UD except...

I hate their mascara. I am asian with almost non-existent eyelashes. I ave to use lancome or dior products to come up with eyelashes that are FAB! I am UD'd biggest fan however their mascara barely lengthen and definitely do not volumize. My lashes were still straight afterwards. I wont be going to UD for mascara in the future unfortunately (

great mascara

i was actually really impressed when i tried the urban decay multi-benefit mascara. when i first saw the brush, i felt pretty sketchy about it since i had tried the covergirl lash blast before and i hated the plastic bristles. but this mascara brush was fantastic. the bristles literally gripped my eyelashes and made my short asian lashes look long and defined after 2 coats. it looked extremely nat...read moreural and kept them looking separated, not clumpy. it did not clump at all and held up throughout the whole day without flaking. i can't say it that it really strengthens your eyelashes, but overall, it's a fantastic mascara. if you're willing to invest $22 in a mascara, i say go for it!

I liked it BUT....

Definitely not "skyscraper" results. It added some definition and length, but there are definitely better mascaras out there for a more dramatic look. I did think it was pretty on, though. But for me there was no "wow factor" here.

big lash, not big gunk

Mascara is a fine line between thicker lashes and monolashes because the mascara sticks. This one does an excellent job.

Good not great

It's a good mascara but not if you want volume or thick lashes. If you want that summery barely there long pretty lashes during the day, then go for it but if you're looking for something dramatic I wouldn't say this is your mascara.

wah!

I have pretty average lashes, not too short or long, and not too thin or thick, so i always appreciate the help a geat mascara brings. This stuff was awesome, a cool application wand that left no clumping, and it really added some drama to the lashes. I dont want to say its the best on the market, but its definently worth the money.
