    Oxymorons Come In Products Apparently

May 27, 2008, 4:56 am The word moisturizer makes you think of words like emulsifying, nurturing, hydrating, soothing, enriching, softening, invigorating, and so on and so forth. Ok well, let's not go there right now because this moisturizer had contradicted all of that. The first thing that came to mind was a sigh of relief perhaps from the typical super drying acne medications and even maybe refreshing. It wasn't much different and it still left my skin feeling parched and hadn't effected the look of my acne, it was still an ongoing cycle of a dismal reflection. I wanted more out of a specialized moisturizing, something that absolutely delivered it's promise and while you pump out a creamy amount of formula and the skin has fully absorbed it, hours later it's thirsty again. I'd have better luck with a typical moisturizer for sensitive skin to get rid of my acne compared to this. This is on my blacklist. May 27, 2008, 4:56 am

    Good moisturizer

April 28, 2008, 11:21 am I've bought this moisturizer for years, and it works great for me. I have combo skin, and it didn't dry my dry parts and didn't make my oily parts any oilier. Though you may not want to use this around the eyes, because it may irritate them.. it's good for face and neck. I don't know if it has cleared my skin any, but it hasn't broken it out. If you have open acne it may sting it a little in the beginning.. so it has potential to be irritating for some. It has never bothered me. there is tingling with this moisturizer which with continued use fades probably because you get used to it. I'd recommend it. It's cheap, and i love the pump. the texture is great too! April 28, 2008, 11:21 am

Are they trying to trick you into continuing to use this?

Just awful. First I cannot understand why there is alcohol in it. It is a moisturizer, and alcohol dries your skin. Second, it is supposed to help fight blemishes, however it has known comedogens in it, and only .5% sal. acid. It made my skin drier than it is without any mosturizer, and made me break out. December 22, 2008, 8:25 am I recently bought this yesterday. I was a bit skeptical about getting it after reading the bad reviews for it. But I purchased it anyways and used it all over my face the night before. It had satisfied my 3 needs in a moisturizer. 1) It was enough to moisturize, and it left my skin feeling fresh. 2) It was not over moisturizing and it didn't leave my face all oily and gross. 3) It didn't clog my pores and leave break-outs. Not only did it satisfy my 3 needs, it also made the small pimples on my nose smaller! AWESOME! December 22, 2008, 8:25 am

    Ok, but not great

I don't think that this works very well; it's an ok moisturizer, but it really stung when I put it on my somewhat sensitive skin. I didn't notice much of a change in the likelihood of breakouts. great product

    by Lissa80 (3 reviews)
I love to use this moisturizer in the morning after I wash my face. It's not oily and is easy to apply make-up over. If you have sensitive skin or if your skin is very dry, this may not be the product for you. November 29, 2007, 6:23 pm

October 27, 2008, 2:17 pm When I was in junior high and high school I used to swear by this stuff. Not because it helped my acne(Clean and Clear never did a thing. Neither did Oxy, Stridex, Phisoderm, Neutrogena...need I go on??) but because I thought this product was the only facial moisturizer that was oil free and wouldn't cause me to get pimples. But in my later high school years I have found many facial moisturizers that are far superior (I would have to keep reapplying this stuff to get decent moisturizing results out of it) to this one and that leave my pores alone. It seems like products like this from drugstore brands are too weak for even moderatley annoying cases of acne. It really seems that this kind of stuff is best for people who generally have pretty good skin but get a few breakouts every month. Where's the drugstore items for us girls who need a little extra TLC because of our acne?? October 27, 2008, 2:17 pm

I wish I could say I outgrew all my acne...but it is much better and not a problem. However, I credit this moisturizer with being one of the reasons why. I love in Colorado (very little humidity) so my skin runs on the dry side. However, most moisturizers cause me to break out or look oily. However, this does not! I use it every morning and have turned other friends onto it as well. October 21, 2008, 11:45 am

September 28, 2008, 1:16 pm I usually try more expensive moisturizers. I say "try" because I have a hard time finding something to address the need for moisture and acne/shine control. I bought this recently when I lost my luggage because I figured it would be the least likely to screw my skin up and I think I'm hooked! I love the lasting menthol-y feeling (just not in the eyes...yikes) and it already got rid of the tiny bumps on my forehead. I have yet to find a product (or combo of products) that will keep my face from shining halfway through the day, but this is acceptable at least because my skin will veer more toward dewy, than greasy. doesn't help acne

First of all, this does not moisturize very well. After a little while, spots on my face feel tight and dry. Secondly, This doesn't help my acne. It isn't strong enough for my skin.
