Great for Chicken Pox (and pretty much any other kind of skin irritation you might have)!

The colloidal oatmeal actually draws the toxins and irritants out of the poxes, so the effect lasts for some time after you get out of the bath. After taking one bath with this product this afternoon, he didn't complain about the itchiness again for the rest of the evening. I wish my mom had known about this when I had chicken pox - it works even better than baking soda. May 21, 2008, 2:02 am

A great alternative to a medicated skin creme.

November 1, 2007, 4:14 pm I have a son with very sensitive skin. In the winter especially his skin becomes very dry and itchy, and sometimes accompanied by red bumps. I have tried several medicated cremes which seem to irritate his skin even more. For the last couple of winters I have used this great oatmeal bath soak followed with the Aveeno lotions and it has really helped calm his episodes down. This summer we had some fun with poison ivy, and this product worked better than anything else to bring him some relief. November 1, 2007, 4:14 pm

    soothes

This is a great product. It worked wonders on my sons red bottom when nothing else I tried worked. Not the greatest smell but That's probably a good thing since I imagine fragrances would only aggravate the problem. October 16, 2007, 12:06 pm

    Soothes Skin

    by traulers (26 reviews)
My small daughter fell into a fire ant nest! Before we could get to her, she was covered with bites. We quickly put her into a bath of Aveeno bath treatment. She stayed in it as long as she could. The next day there were only small little red spots where there would normally be large red pus pockets! It was amazing! May 20, 2008, 9:31 am

My 9 yr old has had excema since she was born. It runs in the family on both sides. I've been using this product on her since she was 5 yrs old. I recommend it for everyone with dry winter skin/excema any other irritations. March 1, 2008, 1:38 pm

    A Sure Thing!

    by sanssouci (18 reviews)
I like to take baths but sometimes taking them too frequently causes me to have red, itchy, irritated skin. This stuff is great! It leaves my skin soft and irritation free. I also don't feel like I have sticky, oily skin after using. And most importantly, no break-out, even on my back. December 7, 2007, 10:02 am

    Must have in my household

    by Rhiadain (3 reviews)
My husband has occasional painful skin rashes that are from a rare genetic condition. His dad also has this condition, and it can be debilitating. When he has a flareup, in addition to prescription cream we were told by our dermatologist to use Aveeno bath. Have done so for 15 years with good results. December 7, 2007, 8:23 am

    Aveeno treats the bugs

    by kagate (17 reviews)
If you have been gardening, cutting grass, etc. and have bugs bites or a rash, then take it away with a soak in an Aveeno Bath Treatment. Your rash will disappear and the itching will stop. September 1, 2008, 11:10 am

    aveeno soothing bath

    by eileen06 (153 reviews)
Another great aveeno item. Like bathing in oatmeal. This is so soothing when you have any and I mean any skin rashes or irritations. Instead of using certain dr.'s pastes etc. I just use this. Love it. August 24, 2008, 5:13 am
