This is a great basic lip gloss. It is shimmery, shiny, moisturizing, sheer, slick (not sticky), and has a decent lip life. There are a lot of pretty colors that look great on bare lips or over lipstick. It is also very affordable and would be a great option for a teen starting to experiement with makeup or anyone to try some new colors. This gloss has a shiny, glittery look and gives the same feel that you get with Vaseline. One problem I have with it is I can feel the little glitter pieces when I rub my lips together. This gloss comes in all different colors and finishes. I've found that, while still being sheer, the color difference between the glosses is distinguishable. They're sticky enough that they stay on for a respectable amount of time without capturing all of your hair on a windy day. I love how they all smell! Call me crazy, but these glosses smell exactly like Dr. Pepper. These are pretty basic as far as lipgloss goes, so the price is a bit high. I find that the range of shades available makes them much more desirable. I often find that when some shades are presumably being phased out, they retail for about half the normal price. Any time you notice a shade you like on sale, it is worth grabbing! The applicator tip is just your usual slanted tip with a hole in the middle. I got this in Think Pink. It's moisturizing and gives my lips colour without being sticky or tacky. I don't recall a smell or taste, but I see those at unnecessary luxuries. I know this product has been out for a while, but I had a small sample of this it a friend gave me and finally decided to try it. I have the Bronzed Beauty shade and it's gorgeous. It has a subtle sparkle and a huge color pay-off (Bronzed Beauty is a sexy gold-flecked crimson color) and my lips looked glossy and flushed after I put this on. The color was impressive. This would be an excellent gloss for those who don't want the intensity or maintenance of wearing a full-on red lipstick....it offers just a kiss of color that isn't overwhelming or too much. I do tend to have dry lips so anything sparkly or glittery wreaks havoc later on, but I just swiped some balm on before applying and it kept things fairly smooth. And, I'm almost embarrassed to say this, but I LOVE the scent and taste of this gloss. It's delicious. :) Excellent product overall. I have to admit, so of the colors are nice and sheer enough to wear during the day. But i do not like the lip gloss. i does not keep my lip moist and it does not last, It moves around my lips, so i feel like I should not talk or move or put my lips together. I heard a lot that a little shine and shimmer makes thin and small lips look bigger. I own a bronze-ish shade of this lip gloss and love the slight addition of color I get to my lips when I use it. It's great that the shimmer is in there as well, because it saves me from adding anything extra to the color before I head out the door. And it's a more professional shade, plus there's no overpowering smell to the gloss that would be detectable to other people near you.
