I was so let down with this product. I hate having to wear alot of lipsticks, and was thrilled with the claims of Just Bitten. Those thrills were short lived. I was expecting my lips to look like I had color, without all the goop. I put it on, it stayed on my lips for MAYBE 2 minutes. If even that long. I finally just threw it away. Very disappointed. This stain is perfect for a matte-red, pink, or orange lip that is so popular on the runways this winter and fall! This product isn't gooey or sticky- it does what it promises- stains. The product is versatile and should be worn differently depending on the occasion. For a night at the bar or club, I wear a darker shade of gloss over it shiny and long lasting color. During the day, though, when I want color in my lips without the over-dramatic juicy red lips look, this is great to wear alone. I'd recommend it with a subtle shiny eye gloss. I bought this in Cherry Tart and I love the color. It's a blue-red tone and it tastes like cool-aid. I didn't give this item a 10 because of the roller ball applicator, which doesn't make much sense. Plus it does go on a little dark, you have to work it into your lips. But the stain lasts a long time, even after I eat a greasy lunch. I will definitely go back and get the ones that are left, since it has been discontinued. Overall, this product worked great for me and the color is perfect for my medium skin tone. I tried this in berry and liked it. It lasts longer than normal lipstick, but doesn't dry out my lips like long-lasting lipsticks do. The roller doesn't work very well. I use my finger to apply (more even) and then top the stain with a clear or pale lip gloss to tone down the color (very intense). Do expect to reapply after 4 or 5 hours, though. I love this stuff! It is all I wear, along with mascara. I'm fair and wear the red one. This is the best way to wear red lipstick. You can wear it day or night (i put chapstick on over everytime to keep it from flaking) and it looks fabulous. It looks almost natural too - like I "naturally" have gorgeous red stained lips :) I hope I can still buy it when I run out since it's discontinued :( June 3, 2008, 3:30 pm

name is sexy colors are awesome but rollerball applicator..not so much.. it last a long time on the outer rim of your lips but the innner pout doesnt hold the color well and it is quite drying.. dry lips?? yuk!! especially when stained and little torn skin pieces are hanging off your mouth that are now more noticeable due to darker staining!! double yuk! I was a little let down with this product, but it definitely wasn't the worst lip stain I have ever tried. I got it in berry, and with a couple of layers the color is about right. The roller does not work well, so I use q-tips to make sure I get it applied evenly. Only lasts a few hours, and dried out my lips a little so I wore a lot of lip balm over it, and so had to reapply quite often. April 16, 2008, 10:42 pm

I tried his product and failed to see how it worked. The only part it colored was the inner part of my lower lip. So, I thought maybe I didn't know what I was doing. For sevral days I played with the product useing smoothers on my lips and exfoliation, useing a lip brush to put it where I wanted it. I couldn't acheive the wanted look and after reading other reveiws opted to throw it away as well. February 22, 2008, 12:44 pm

The stain doesn't last long unless you layer it. But a few layers and some patience and you do have a decent stain.
BUT - I hate the roller ball and even if you use something else to apply the stain, if you don't use the lip stain again within a day or two, it dries around the ball and becomes a wasted goopy mess you have to deal with before you can apply. January 31, 2008, 7:49 pm

I bought the cherry tart color and I was pretty impressed. I'm not using it right now b/c my lips are extremely dry and flakey. This stain stays on for hours and looks pretty good in my opinion. I use a light tan gloss on top to soften it up during the day and to add some moisture into my lips. I think it is an awesome steal for a lip stain. It does wear off after a few hours or so, but everything that I've used does this as well. December 20, 2007, 6:27 pm
