The texture is rich, not runny. I like to apply this lotion after shower. It absorbs into skin quickly, and leaves my heels and elbows soft and smooth. Great lotion for dry and itchy skin. Since it is fragranc-free, men can use this lotion without smelling like a grandma. It costs a few bucks more than some of my other body lotions, but this one is a keeper and definitely worth the price tag. — 3 years, 7 months ago

Very heavy!

This is a very heavy lotion that works well for extremely dry and flakey skin. It's so heavy that it takes a very long time (2-3 hours) to completely soak into your skin. This would be the type of lotion I'd recommend you'd wear before you go to bed so it has the entire night to soak into your skin. I'd use a different lotion for mornings because you'd end up waiting forever for it to dry so you can get dressed. Fantastic lotion though! I'm a nurse with extremely dry hands from washing, so this lotion one of my favorites. Also great for dry soles too. I sometimes apply this to the dry parts on the bottoms of my feet and slip on a pair of socks before bed. When I wake up, my feet are incredibly soft. Try it! — 2 months, 2 weeks ago

NICE winter lotion

I live in the Midwest and have sensitive skin that gets VERY dry and itchy in the winter. On top of that, I work in a hospital (which is a dry environment) and wash my hands a million times a night. I purchased this lotion after I noticed that some of our patients were using it for their dry skin. It is a very thick, rich cream and it works really well for me. I love that it's fragrance free and I just LOVE how my skin feels after I put it on. Yes, my skin feels a little oily for a bit but the second ingredient is mineral oil; you just have to let it sink into your skin for a minute. I do feel it's a bit expensive (I don't think it's as "watered down" as some less expensive lotions) so I don't buy it unless it's on sale. Also, I don't think it's a lotion I'll use in the summer; it's too rich. But it's pretty wonderful for winter skin or if you have super dry skin any time of the year. — 1 year, 1 month ago

great for sensitive skin

Absolutely NO OTHER LOTION can match the hydrating power of this stuff. I just apply some in the morning as I'm getting ready for the day, and again at night before I go to sleep, and that's it. With other lotions, my skin would go dry in an hour or two. When I was a teenager I had severe atopic dermatitis, on top of very dry and sensitive skin, and a dermatologist recommended this product to me. Even though the dermatitis went away (yay!) I still keep using this lotion. However, it is quite heavy for a lotion, and it's a bit greasy for a few minutes after you apply it. But it's a different kind of "greasy" than other lotions that for some reason isn't so bad - maybe I've just gotten used to it (and it gives off that super-model sheen!). I recommend this lotion to all my friends, but I would say it's especially good for people with dry and/or sensitive skin. — 3 years, 2 months ago

Greasy

This lotion started off greasy for when when first applying it onto my body, and the top scent was a little odd for me. But after it absorbed, it made my skin buttery-smooth and there was absolutely no fragrance what so ever. For some people, this might not be the lotion for you because it can get greasy if your skin is not super dry, but if you have dry/super dry skin all year long like mine, it's highly recommended — 3 years, 4 months ago
