    Don't really like it.

I got this free (rebate through Walgreens) so I gave it a try. First of all, I really can't figure out the sponge thing. Do you tap it on your face or swipe it across your face??? I tapped it, which left a lot of loose minerals on my face and clothes... but that's no big deal. I probably should have gotten the brush instead. I liked the color and coverage, but it made my already oily skin even oilier by the end of the day. Bare Minerals doesn't leave me quite as oily by the end of the day.

    Not crazy about it

I really didn't like this.I had tried Sheer Cover and then I got caught up in all the auto delivery scam.So I thought i would give this a try.Maybe I just got spoiled with the other.I didn't like the matte finish.I may give it another try but I have found the Sheer Cover on ebay and I think I am going to get it.

    LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

I stumbled across a holiday promotion for Jane Mineral makeup, in a kit containing foundation, bronzing powder, 2 shades of blush and 4 shades of eyeshadow. On top of that, the store had a buy one, get one offer, so I got 2 kits, one in Warm tones and the other in Cool (because I liked that eyeshadow better). While the Cool foundation won't suit me until summer when I have a little more color on...read more my face, the Warm combination of products is perfect for me. You have to supply your own makeup brushes, but its well worth it. My skin has never looked better! I just LOVE not having that oil slick feeling, like my face is sliding off. It takes almost no time at all to apply all the products and I have a much more natural, clean, well-put-together look overall. The cost of this wonder - $7.99 plus tax. What a bargain. It'll be a cold day before I buy liquid foundation again. I have ALWAYS had problem skin, and even at 39, I am STILL fighting horrible acne, plus scars and occassional redness. I had been using a popular name brand acne treatment system with some success, but I really think the makeup has helped more than anything else ever did to clear my skin up. PLUS, even tho it takes just the smallest amount on the brush to apply, it covers redness and small breakouts better than foundation and concealer together, without that cakey, globbed on look. I just love this stuff!

    applicator is not good

I agree that the applicator just doesn't work. Not enough comes through it to do anything. I will try taking it off and applying with a brush.

    great makeup

I was using liquid foundations, until one day there was a sale on Jane products at a local drugstore, buy 1 get one free. I bought the Be Pure Makeup and it was the best I have ever used on my face. I found that my skin looked cleaner, and at the end of the day I did not have that shine on my face. I had to get used to using the brush, but now I buy the Jane in the tube with the brush attached, a...read morell you have to do is pump the tube up and down and the makeup is distributed to the brush. You dont have extra makeup on the brush and it is easy to do on the go.

    Powder is great, applicator isn't

I just recently bought a couple jars of this in different shades. The sponge applicator that comes with it is awful. I found it to get dirty right away. I took it off and turned the bottle upside down and let some of the mineral powder go into the lid, then took a big brush and got the powder on the brush and applied it. For the price, it's wonderful mineral makeup. I suggest Jane come up wit...read moreh a more sanitary applicator for the powder. It is a wonderful product, but the applicator just doesn't work.
