This hairspray has just enough hold to keep my fine, curly hair manageable and still soft. I only use about ten pumps on my waist-length hair - too much makes it crunchy. The smell is the best part - it's just like a grape popsicle. (I once bought a bottle in South Carolina that smelled more like pineapple!) One word of caution - it works much better on hair that's still wet. If I use it once my hair has mostly dried, it makes it somewhat frizzy. I am not fond of hairspray but when I use it, I like Aussie. It does not make my hair so hard a wind storm would not move it. It still moves naturally and combs out without flaking. I even cut back from othr products. just need one spray in the spot you desire not the repeated like with other sprays. doesnt leave a crispy feeling either.
