I was hoping this would help to clear my adult acne by deep cleaning my pores. The sensation of warmth feels good at the beginning, and this is not as harsh as other warming or thermal-active products (e.g. Clinique Pore Minimizer). However, it leaves a thin layer of residue, and it doesn't seem to rinse off completely. I love the effect of the warming, but it's tricky and takes a few uses to get it down. You have to use minimal amounts of water and only focus on small sections at a time to keep the warming effect going. The cleanser feels alright when it goes on, but it takes a bit of work to get it all off. Then the feeling I'm left with is a tighter, dryer texture. Alright, ONCE and for ALL. Your pores do NOT open and close! The warming sensation only works on the psyche, not the skin. It feels nice, but it is no better than any other basic cleanser. While it touts green tea as one of the ingredients it is too trace to make a big difference. It also leaves a bit of a residue on the skin even after repeated rinsing. Yuck.
