This formula is great for giving your face a thorough clean. It is made with small, grainy microbeads to exfoliate your skin and get rid of all the dirt and oil. I love the feeling after the use of soft, soft skin. Not great, not horrible
Tried this as an accompaniment to the Fresh Foaming Cleanser, and as a gentler option than the St Ives Apricot Scrub. Wasn't impressed. Didn't really feel exfoliated, although my skin did feel clean. VERY good scrub, but is it discontinued?
i bought this scrub on sale, but it was a pretty decent price to begin with. i have used other scrubs before, and they 'worked'. but this is the only scrub that i could feel scrubbing my face, without being too rough on my skin. also... i didn't break out. it is a very basic scrub. and for my preference... i prefer it not to foam... that would dilute the scrubbing action for me... they should just...read more call it fresh oil-free scrub. btw, the moisture that goes along with this is really good too! it's also a make-up primer, and for $18 THAT is worth it... primers alone are about $20 and up, so 2 birds with one stone... Works fine on my sensitive skin.
I just rounded the corner of middle age. I also have very mild Rosacea and my skin is dry plus very sensitive. Even though this Neutrogena Fresh Scrub doesn't actually foam very well, I still like it. I wash my face with a non-soapy, very gentle cleanser like Neova's Soothing Milk Cleanser using my mini Clairisonic scrubber. Then I put Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Scrub on my freshly cleansed face and...read more do the exfoliation part while I'm in the shower. I don't overdue the exfoliation because my skin is sensitive so I limit that to twice weekly. But after I rinse my face, I then apply Acai Antioxident Oil to my face and then pat it dry. On goes my Skinceauticals Hydrating B-5 Gel and then I always follow-up with my moisturizer. You might think my skin would be greasy after applying oil and moisturizer but all these products (oil and moisturizer) soak into my skin to provide optimum hydration. My face feels clean, smoothed, soothed and protected by adding my Neutrogena 75+ Sunscreen. If I need to put on all my makeup that day, then I do it after I have followed all these steps. I took off one star because this Neutrogena Scrub doesn't actually foam up very much. Otherwise, I love it!
