My family has gone through every formula offered by Herbal Essences. We run into the same problem every time...build up. The first 2 or 3 times the shampoos and conditioners worked great and then they starting building up and giving all 4 of us (2 adults, 2 teenagers) oily roots, flakes, and frizzy ends. Smells awesome

Lightweight and clean
Even though this shampoo is meant for volumizing, I tend to use this for when I want my hair to feel light and clean and since volumizing shampoos are very lightweight as to not weigh down hair, I find this works best. If you are looking for a shampoo that gives your hair volume and isn't weighed down, this product is great. I have really flat hair and this product gave my hair a subtle life and the aroma of the shampoo is great. As Good As A Salon Brand...
And smells incredible. My hair was lifeless before I tried this amazing shampoo. Now my hair is full and bouncy all day. Wonderful
I have heard that Herbal Essences builds up on your hair, but I have not experienced this problem and the company responded to my email concerning that saying that everything can be washed off. I have Asian hair that is flat and straight. This shampoo did give me volume along with a great scent compared to others I have used. The only drawback for me is that my hair could have been softer. Good gunk remover
This is just one of those shampoos that removes all the gunk from your hair and leaves no build up behind. The fact that this is clear and see through shows that there isn't any trace of unnecessary conditioners for those with oily hair or limp hair. Just do this : Wash your hair with this and add the stripped moisture back in with your favourite conditioner. Does Nothing
