Break's Not Over........
My family has gone through every formula offered by Herbal Essences. We run into the same problem every time...build up. The first 2 or 3 times the shampoos and conditioners worked great and then they starting building up and giving all 4 of us (2 adults, 2 teenagers) oily roots, flakes, and frizzy ends. Rapid Repair
This shampoo works so great and I definitely recommend it to improve the texture and strength of your hair from root to tip. It repairs your damaged ends and after just one use, my hair felt stronger. The aroma of the shampoo smells great, but it works well too. Smells great! But does it work?
I always get tons of compliments on how my hair smells, and I've always thought it worked fine, but my 13-year-old daughter (who uses the shampoo too) recently did a science fair project testing if the shampoo really makes your hair stronger. She treated her hair with Herbal Essences Drama Clean shampoo for a week, cut some off, and then treated her hair with the Break's Over stuff for a week and cut some off. Then she used some sort of scientific gadget that I don't understand to test how much force it took to break the hair. Her results came out as the Break's Over hair taking less force that the Drama Clean. She couldn't believe it, so she did the Break's Over hair again, and the results were basically the same. Pretty good!
I first tried it today and, like most of Herbal Essence's products, it made my hair super soft, shiny, and silky. I have a bunch of split ends because I used to straighten my hair all the time. Flick-Worthy
I started using this shampoo because it was the most moisturizing according to Herbal Essences. I was actually trying to help my rampid frizzies. This shampoo left my hair soft, shiny and ready to take on the day. My frizzies dramatically decreased and my hair became really strong. I like switching products every 5 seconds, but I have stuck with this for about 7 months. Perfect. Great Shampoo, Great smell

Less than satisfied.

Love the smell! Not sure if it's really strengthening
I should preface this review with the fact that I have very fragile hair. I do everything to it, color, iron, blow dry...I have very few split ends and very little breakage to begin with despite the torture I put it through. I bought this b/c of the fragrance...it's yummy! I do think that it does dry my hair out a bit and does strip my hair of the natural oils but it leaves a delicious fragrance in my hair even after I blow dry.
