Great Shampoo

Great Shampoo for colored hair

I color my hair regularly and this is the only shampoo that doesn't let the color to fade. My hair is very fine and this also gives me extra volume. It's my favorite shampoo.

Love this!

I prefer the Volumizing over the Hydrating version of the shampoo. It definately locks my color in longer, cleans well, but doesn't strip color. However, I do prefer the Hydrating version of the conditioner. So far, the Wella Preserve line is the best color-locking system I've found.

good for reds

I have a fit trying to keep my red color looking fresh. Reds fade so fast:( So, when I read the ad that Wella's shampoo was supposed to work better to keep color than other professional shampoos, I decided to try it. I noticed that my roots seemed to get oily (and need a shampoo) sooner than with my other color shampoo, and I need a little more product when I use this to get my hair clean.. but, ...read moremy red did stay vibrant for about three weeks longer than usual. It's not my favorite shampoo ever in terms of scent or lather, but as my color is very expensive these days, keeping the color on my head as long as I can is the most important thing. I recommend this shampoo, especially to preserve red.

Color preserve

I used this and my hair felt like straw. I actually had to add more water to my hair to get a lather. Not sure if it protects color but it didn't hydrate at all.

Love it!

I get both highlights and low lights in my hair and this shampoo works great for preserving the color and giving me extra volume. It's my favorite shampoo. (I also use the conditioner)
