Biolage Smoothing Conditioner Reviews

another amazing product from biolage
Kikikins625 (457 reviews)I use all biolage products in my hair and normally I use the bodifying shampoo/conditioner but sometimes I like to go back and use this because I love the way it makes my hair feel — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not My Fixture
Starluxe (298 reviews)For a salon product, I would expect to see a difference. However, I did not other than just the feeling of softness. This did add softness but at the end of the shower and a brush later, I found my hair more frizzier than it usually compared to the shampoo/conditioner I was already using. This does have a light pleasant scent that isn't overpowering but I wouldn't say this is the greatest product in the market but it would depend on your hair type. I already have long straight, moderately frizzy hair and I use smoothing or silkening conditioners to nourish and maintain and decrease the frizz. The texture is similar to a facial cream and it does coat the hair well almost like a mask but after rinsing it, the properties of this product didn't have a lasting effect on my hair and wasn't able to withstand humid weather conditions. — 4 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

Like the shampoo, this conditioner is flawless
RavenLoudspeakr (270 reviews)I'm those people who just have to have conditioner. Without it, my hair is noticeably more frizzier and tangled. This makes my hair super manageable, soft, and smooth. It has a pleasant scent that isn't too in your face like Herbal Essences. My only beef is compared to the shampoo...it just doesn't seem like you get enough conditioner. (But you still get alot, don't get me wrong) — 3 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Great smoothing power, not heavy
cherrypie (195 reviews)I have fine curly hair that is frizzy which I straighten myself 2-3 times a week. If you are in this interesting predicament, you understand what I mean; you need something moisturizing to control frizz and add moisture, but formulas created for curly/frizzy hair inevitably contain heavy ingredients more suited to coarse types of hair. This does not do. Most conditioners weigh down my hair and leave it looking and feeling greasy not long into my blowout. This conditioner is excellent, it is lightweight and very moisturizing. I can use quite a bit on my hair (even near the scalp) and it always rinses out clean and leaves my hair much smoother. I have noticed an improvement in my hair since using this conditioner and at around 14 bucks it's not outside my budget (Look for sales at local chain salons on liter sizes on these, you can get some really good deals!). — 3 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Decent product
curlylyn (18 reviews)This is a pretty decent product. It is not enough to tame my frizzy curly hair though, I usually have to use it in conjunction with another conditioner. — 11 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

moisturizing, not heavy!
CobraQueen (26 reviews)This conditioner is just as wonderful as its shampoo brother. Together the pair really help to fight frizz without leaving your hair greasy or heavy. Totally worth the money, great clean smell, and a million other reasons to add why I have been using this duo for over 5 years now! — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Love It!
Aes1783 (38 reviews)After taking a 6 month hiatus from Biolage after it ran out, I decided to finally give in and buy Aveda Color Conserve shampoo and conditioner. Boy, do I regret it. I absolutely hated the conditioner and the shampoo, while it smells amazing, make my hair dry! I've tried the color and normalizing lines of Biolage, but currently have the Smoothing shampoo and conditioner. I love them! They make my hair smooth and soft while keeping it healthy after drying and straightening it 5 days a week. It also doesn't weigh by fine, straight and usually oily hair down either. Overall, I'd say depending on what you're looking for, either stick with the Smoothing or Normalizing line. I didn't care of the Color line, hair color fades no matter what! Also, while I love Biolage's line of shampoo and conditioner, I don't care for their styling products. — 3 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

This is a great product
crystalteo (1 reviews)My hair is really curly and course, and when it's dry it gets frizzy really bad. I started using this product a year ago and loved it so much that I asked my stylist if she could buy me a whole gallon. I use only a small amount and I'm good to go for the whole day. I live on an island with weather that's not so friendly to my type of hair, but this works for me. — 3 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
