Smooth as Silk

Works very well with the conditioner. Good detangling, and has a light, fresh scent. I didn't think it weighed my hair down, either. I just wish it were cheaper. Still, I will probably continue to use it as I have seen significantly less breakage since I started using it a week ago.

A little disappointing!

I tried the Giovanni Smooth as Silk Shampoo and really liked it! The conditioner, however, is not as good. I thought it would work well since I just get a little dry on the ends, but my hair is not frizzy or unruly as the bottle says. I applied it in the shower and even though the bottle didn't say, I left it on for about a minute or so. My hair felt a bit tangly. When I rinsed, it was sort of kno...read moretted in places. I squeezed my hair out when I got out of the shower and ran a comb through it, starting at the ends. It was definitely tangly. Not good in my opinion! Unfortunately, since I am one of those people that has to have "matching" shampoo and conditioner brands/lines, I will not be buying the conditioner or shampoo again, even though the shampoo version is great.

Hooked!

I've been a faithful user of Pureology but in my quest to find another product that doesn't gouge my wallet, I found Giovanni and I'm so happy and hooked! Leaves my hair silky soft & shiny, yet manageable! I can't wait to try the shampoo!

Leaves hair soft

This definitely does the job that a good hydrating conditioner should. Giovanni products are effective.

Smoothing

This conditioner smoothed my dry coarse frizzy hair. It is not moisturizing, but tamed my mess of hair in this hot humid NY weather.

Not a fan

I tried this product hoping it would make my hair feel smooth, but it did the exact opposite! My hair was super tangled after I was done using it. I even let it sit for about 5 minutes and it still tangled my hair. I'm upset that I wasted my money on it.

Wonderful stuff

I have long hair that is part wavy and part curly. This soaks into my hair and makes it super soft. It helps cut down on the frizz that comes with my kind of hair, without getting rid of the waves and curls. Its got alot of good ingredients in it as well. I love this conditioner.

No more breakage

Have had less almost to none breakage and split ends in my hair since using this. Locks in moisture without weighing hair down nice fresh scent and makes hair more manageable. Leaves my hair soft and shiny too

Love the conditioner, but pass on the shampoo

The conditioner is wonderful, my hair feels so silky soft on my conditioner only days, on shampoo and conditioner days, my hair feels god aweful. I gave it a full 2 weeks to see if my hair just needed time to adjust, but nope, the shampoo just sucks... but i will say again, the conditioner is awesome! Highly reccomended. It has a nice minty smell/feel too. If it had just a touch more moisture, it would get 10 stars

Giovanni Smooth as Silk!

They aren't joking when they say this conditioner softens, moisturises, and smoothes. This conditioner is thick and creamy without weighing your hair down. It is also tremendous with frizz, and who doesn't love organic products that deliver on promises made on the label?! Definitely a must buy, and I will be repurchasing!
