The big selling point for these tweezers is the scissor-style handle, a comfy feature the company claims is ideal for people with weak hands or joints. But these tweezers don't fulfill the promise of "superior control." The grip isn't tight, which means stubborn hairs require a lot of extra effort -- which doesn't bode well for those with weak hands or joints. Stick with the sturdy, reliable Tweezerman, instead.

    Does not work for me/course thick hair

    I have course thick black hair on my chin and eyebrows. These tweezers do not work for me. The ones with a handle on the other hand do, they are like the scissor kind with the finger holes. But these definately do not get ahold of the hair, slips off and is annoying at best to use. Especially if hair is just coming in, cann...ot get ahold of the very short hair. May 14, 2008, 11:34 pm

    I haven't had my eyebrows professionally waxed in over a year, this tweezer is so good. I remember seeing my Mother use this and I love it. I got a freebie once from a department store brand and there is no comparison. February 3, 2008, 5:05 am

    My Grandma swore by Revlon tweezers , my mom swore by Revlon tweezers , I swear by Revlon tweezers and have introduced my daughter to the excellence of Revlon tweezers !! I love the slant tip it gives more control on fine hairs,Revlon is a quality product December 21, 2007, 4:12 am

    My teenage daughter and I have tried every tweezer we have found. We have found this one to be the best. It gets all of the short and thin hairs. The hard to pluck hairs are no challenge for this tweezer. Highly recommend! Doesn't even rust like most others. We love it. December 7, 2007, 11:20 am

    These aren't sharp enough - they don't grab on to the hair well and it can be so frustrating. Stick with Tweezerman brand tweezers! August 20, 2009, 7:55 am
