Ulta Automatic Eye Liner Reviews

Great product.
This review is for ULTA's automatic eye liner pencil. I own it in Olive, which a gorgeous olive color with slight gold shimmer. Claims to be waterproof and long lasting. PROS: Go on sale often. Decently long lasting. Great pigmentation. Nice colors (wish they'd add even more!). Glide on smoothly. CONS: Not on sale, they're a little spendy ($8). Buy a bunch on sale! I know I will be repurchasing these when I run out, and they're on sale! — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Pretty good
At regular price these are worth buying, but when they are on sale, an absolute MUST! All of the colors are outstanding. They are twist up (no need to sharpen-Yay!), they apply smoothly without skipping and hold up as well as the other waterproof pencil liners out there (the only one I like better at any price is Avon Glimmersticks), but Ulta has a better color selection. Raisin, Moss, and Indigo are great colors to try (not at all distracting) in addition to the black, browns and charcoal. — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Great for upper lids but not lower lids
This is very smooth and pigmented when rimming inside upper lids but not so smooth on lower lids. It skips and doesn't want to deposit color on the rims of my lower lids. So it takes a long time to line the lower lids and I end up with and uneven line and color. Fairly long lasting, will last several hours but is not waterproof and will not last if you have oily skin. Also great that it's self sharpening but will not repurchase. Urban Decay 24/7 is still the best for lower rims. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great everyday eye liner!
I was looking for a decent waterproof eye liner that doesnt cost a lot. this fits the bill! I bought one in charcoal, that looks great with m brown eyes, a nice daytime color. And I bought black and again it's a basic black liner that has nice staying power, and goes on easily. Definitely a good product. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Surprised that it was decent.
I was not expecting much staying power for a relatively cheap eyeliner at a store that sells pencils for $17 by Urban Decay. But this did stay on my waterlines for a bit longer than drugstore pencil liners and the melting that did occur was pretty easy to wipe off with a finger tip or Q-tip. For the price, it's pretty good, but it's no 24/7 Urban Decay pencil. I also like not having to sharpen it. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Nice Eyeliners, Great Colors
I usually use Avon Glimmersticks too, but decided to try the Ulta brand because they were on sale for like a dollar each with a coupon I had. Always the bargain hunter, I stocked up: Raisin, Moss, and Olive, Teal Blue, and Charcoal. I love the Olive, and look forward to trying the other colors soon! Very smooth and long lasting and can't go wrong with the price. — 1 week, 5 days agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not worth the money
I bought 4 of these eyeliners when they were running a special on them. Can I say crap, they were not pigmented at all and they felt like they pulled my eyelid I order to get the faintest color on them. I bought the purple, teal, green and navy. Never again there are plenty of eyeliners out there that are 100% better. I love all of avons, HIP, NYX all have great cheap liners. — 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

The best for the price!!!
...and when I say "price," I mean, when they go on sale for $2 at Ulta! A year ago I figured I'd give it a go since they were only 2 bucks a piece. GREAT purchase. I got black/brown and raisin. They work as well as any eyeliner I've tried. Raisin color (purple) is a little light... it's not a dark color at all, so it works when you want minimal eye makeup. I wish these came with the smudger-end like the Covergirl Perfectpoint eyeliners do. But turns out Ulta does actualy sell some with the smudger, but they aren't the $2 ones. I think I had to splurge for $4! haha. Really great product though. Best $2 I ever spent. And they really do last as long as any other automatic eyeliner I've tried! Woot! Was going to give this 8 stars... but really, the quality for the price makes me want to bump this up! Oh, what the heck! — 11 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

So happy I found this eyeliner!
I bought this eyeliner as I was looking for a cheaper waterproof alternative to Stila. This eyeliner was on sale so I bought it in a couple of colors. I am so happy that I did! I love it! It really stays put all day! I have oily skin and live in the deep South and it does not move! I use Napoleon Perdis Camera Finish first and then apply my eyeliner. I am buying this in more colors and will continue to use it! I hope they never stop making it! I find that this eyeliner goes on very smoothly. I use baby oil to remove my eye make up as I also use waterproof mascara. The baby oil removes this eyeliner easily. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Wow!
This is the best eyeliner I've used. If you're going for a smudge-proof eyeliner that's full of pigment, go for this one. It's fantastic. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
