Another Self-Tanner Disappointment
First thing I noticed was the wierd smell. It does not smell natural at all. I usually trust Dove products, but this is another self-tanner lotion that does not work effectively on my skin. ugh never again
I didn't like anything about this product. The tan it created was only on the surface of the skin and washed away when I showered, I smelled like a gym locker after putting it on, and the tan i did get was a little orangy. favorite lotion over-the-counter
hands down the best brand at the drugstore, this stuff manages to have a pleasant smell and provide tanning. Rich and Subtle
A very good body lotion. The scent is pleasant but not too heavy so it does not interfere with your perfume. It moisturises very nicely-even on dry skin and feels cool and soft when you put it on. Great value
I like this product alot. As a moisturiser it absorbs well and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. The smell is nice but sometimes the tanning chemicals are all you can smell on your skin after a couple of uses. Lovely Moisturizing Self-Tanning Lotion
I am fair-skinned; I find this to be light, moisturizing, and it applies evenly with a pleasant light scent. It dries almost instantly and doesn't turn your hands/towels any funny color either. This is such a breath of fresh air from other streaky/orange/smelly brands, such as Jergens or Neutrogena, that I've tried. Sometimes I use just on my legs, and sometimes all over - I am very happy with it. You've Come a LONG Way Baby !
I am very impressed with this product. I am an auburn-haired-VERY-freckle-FAIR-skinned chick who LOVES to be tanned, but had enough of sunburns to last me 10 lifetimes! Compared to self-tanners of 20 years ago this product is AWESOME. Also - the price is WONDERFUL! I have tried other products from ridiculously expensive to unreasonably expensive and inasmuch as they are nice - the outcome is EXACTLY the same for me as the Dove one! I am truly impressed and now a sworn Dove Energy Glow user! I find if you put any of these lotions on freshly bathed skin that has been exfoliated and dried properly they (it) go on beautifully and like any self-tanner you keep it even and rub it in properly and TA DA --- a lovely, natural colour AND NO SUNBURN. It even colours my silly freckles darker just like the sun does so it truly DOES LOOK NATURAL. Smells good, does a fair job
I like this one better than some of the other gradual self tanner lotions because it smells great. It reminds me of Juicy Fruit gum. The color is probably about average. Mix with Lotion
I've been using this lotion since March, and it's been great. Every once in awhile I use it full strength, but every few days I normally mix with with my regular body lotion (1:1 ratio). This keeps the color from fading, but doesn't deepen it too much.
