This mascara didn't deposit much color, and seemed to go on pretty weak. it didn't adhere to lashes so I could barely tell I had applied it. I am not a fan. — 8 months, 3 weeks ago

Original Voluminous is better

I have been using the original version for over a decade now, and when this came out, I had to try it. The brush isn't as easy to use as the original, and this one seems to go on "softer". You can achieve very thick lashes, but the original version is quicker and easier to achieve the look. This seems to clump less. It is priced right for what it does, it can be a back-up choice if the original isn't available. — 4 years ago

Great balance of definition and volume

I've tried dozens and dozens of mascaras over the years, most of them high-end and pricey. The only ones that came close to meeting my needs were Benefit "They're Real!" and Dior "Diorshow," but what I really wanted was a cross between the two that would give me the definition of "They're Real!" and the volume of "Diorshow" and that also would hold a curl on my rather straight, downward-pointing lashes. Sick and tired of spending $25-$30 a pop to try more and more high-end mascaras that didn't quite meet my needs, I finally decided to try this highly rated drugstore mascara that had been recommended by a pro makeup artist in a TB article. WOW!!! Not only does this one hit the perfect balance between definition and volume, it also holds a curl! I'll never spend 4x the price of this wonderful mascara again on the high-end brands! I really hope they never discontinue this one. — 2 months ago

great product& great price

It separates lashes (especially when i've used it for a while so the formula isn't as moist as after you first open the container) and makes them look more full. I have tried more expensive mascaras but I will not use anything other than this. A true classic, just Maybelline's Pink& green tube! — 11 months ago

I have been using this mascara all throughout high school and straight into my university years. Let me tell you that this product delivers for its price! honestly i was disappointed in this. it doesn't stay at all as in you curl your lashes with eyelash curler then 5 minutes later your eyelash just fell straight down. but it does a good job of volumizing and separating though. i'm sooo trying lashblast next. — 2 years, 2 months ago

Most overrated mascare out there

Another sale at my local drugstore. Since reading lot's of positive reviews for this mascara, I decided to give it a try. Comes time to open the tube and out comes the brush COMPLETELY covered with large clumps. Not to worry, paper towel to the rescue. After curling my lashes, I apply the 1-st coat and I realize that I have just destroyed the curl that I worked so hard to set. On top of all, I did not lengthen of volumize my lashes (it deposited wet clumps all over my lashes but it's not considered volumizing). Thinking that nylon bristle brush is better than new rubber/plastic bristle brushes (read about my bad experience with Maybelline Define-a-Lash lengthening mascara), I proceed to use it to apply a 2-nd coat and hopefully to smooth out clump. Well, I officially have a bunch of little spider legs where my lashes used to be. I don't even want to see them get bigger so no 3-rd coat for me. I returned this mascara to the store the very next day. — 2 years, 10 months ago
