This is the first spot treatment that I think actually works. It speeds up acne recovery. It is small enough to take on the go. It dries out your skin so only apply where needed. I am someone with very oily, acne prone skin, and for me it's a direct result of my eating and exercise habits. The great thing about this product (used with the Clinique 3 Step Acne solution) is that even when I have been pigging out or haven't had time to make it to the gym, it still works. I find that this product does have a tendency to dry out my skin, so I usually like to use it with the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing gel, for just the right amount of moisture. I think this is my favorite of the 3 step acne solutions. It doesnt dry my skin, and actually makes me feel fresher and cleaner. I know its working because of the powdery substance in the liquid. Horrible
I received this as part of a gift with purchase. I have oily skin with moderate breakouts, so it thought this product would be up my alley. Boy was I wrong I used it right before bed and woke up the next morning with hives and a chemical burn across my entire face. Excellent Product

This is a great product! IT helps to remove the excess dirt and makeup that cleansers leave behind. Ti's amazing how much dirt and grim the cleansers miss. Works Great!

Like none other
I have used many other clarifying lotions and toners but this is the best, espically since i have sensitive skin. Clinique's Acne Clarifying Lotion is very gentle on my skin without drying it out. I love this so much because my nose collects of lot of dead skin and after I swipe my face one time with the lotion it just melts away. Drying, but doesn't get to the root of it.
I would find that the upper layer of skin would dry out but the inflammation would still be there, I don't know who deep down it works to truly get rid of the problem. Also, if you tend to have sensitive skin, this might be too irritating for you. This stuff REALLY clears problem acne!
I have been plagued with acne since puberty hit many, many years ago. I have tried just about every acne product in existence and most prescription products. But this is the one that truly works.
