Almay Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover Liquid Reviews

Great buy!
j_orestano (221 reviews)This remover takes my eye makeup off with minimal rubbing and leaves my eyelids feeling very soft and smooth, unlike when I use "oil-free" products, when my skin is left red and rough! I would compare it to Clinique's eye makeup remover, but the plus side is this is much less expensive! I would definitely recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

The Mineral Oil Stings My Eyes
annikarey (9 reviews)The headline says it all, and I switched to the eye makeup remover pads (also from Almay) that didn't have mineral oil in it. — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great Makeup remover for the price
MzWayne (32 reviews)I have been partial to using Clinque's take the day off makeup remover and loved it. I tried looking for less expensive eye makeup remover and this worked well for me. I don't use it with my contacts on so any little bit that may get in my eyes just washes out. It doesn't burn and it only takes a little bit on a cotton ball or Que tip to get the makeup off. I wear gel eyeliner and it just comes right off...and when I was my face with a gentle cleanser afterwards there is no makeup residue. This is also good for my undereye moisture. I would definately be purchasing this product in the future. I have not tried the liquid non oil formula but the non oily pads work great too. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

does the job
NotQuiteGlam (166 reviews)This works well...for the record, "moisturizing" is a fancy word for "has oil in it," but I figured that when I bought it, and I can deal with the oil. It works really fast, even on waterproof mascara, and I just tissue off and then rinse with water when I'm done and I'm good to go. — 3 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

not a fan
brunettebeauty (86 reviews)This eye makeup remover is extremely greasy! It does an ok job of removing makeup, but always gets in my eyes and drips down my face. It leaves my eye area very oily and gross. Will not buy again! — 3 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Only in an emergency
sweets5260 (126 reviews)I bought this and let's say I've tried others that worked way better. However, this is the best "drugstore" one that I've used...It did leave my eye area extremely oily. It slightly burnt (I have extremely sensitive eye area). I would definitely use this in an emergency where I could not get to my Chanel eye makeup remover. But I would definitely have to prep my eye area, especially if I was wearing waterproof eye makeup with something like Ponds Cold cream to "loosen" up the makeup. — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

greasy, blurred vision
yukitea (18 reviews)It does get rid of SOME waterproof makeup... in order to take off about 90% of it, you have to rub extremely hard and that isn't good for your skin. It also got into my eyes every time. I'm not retarded, and I know how to use it, but every time, it manages to make my vision very blurry and feels extremely greasy. — 3 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Good quality and not oily
simbasmom (11 reviews)I really like this makeup remover because it removes makeup without really having to scrub the makeup from your eyes. I use all waterproof products, so my mascara is tough to take off. Plus, it doesn't leave you feeling oily. — 3 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Makes your eyes feel greasy, but works well
jetsounds (10 reviews)It does remove eye makeup really well, but I find myself having to wash the oil off my face for some time afterward. The oil-free version of this works just as well, and dries pretty quickly, so you can reapply makeup if need be. Get the oil-free and you'll be set! — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful
