I really love this eye makeup remover because it doesn't irritate my eyes or dry out my skin. It only takes a little swipe and this instantly cleans my eyes of makeup like eye shadow and mascara without smearing. Gentle and doesn't leave a residue

Almay is one of the few (if not the only) cruelty-free drugstore brand, which is why I bought this product. I keep buying it because it works well, is inexpensive, and comes in a pretty bottle. The time-crunched should know that it takes a couple swipes with a cotton ball and then some cleanup around your eye with a q-tip to get all of your makeup off. — 3 years, 6 months ago

Takes off everything

This is a stellar makeup remover. it takes off waterproof mascara and eyeliner with no rubbing or extensive time. I was surprised at how well it worked, as others have left me with remnants of the mascara that ring the eyes and make me look like I have two shiners. The Almay oil free doesn't leave any sort of residue, and the best part it is doesn't sting if you get it in your eyes. It leaves skin feeling refreshed and as a bit of aloe/cucumber scent which is really nice. Use this before you wash your face to get rid of any trace of makeup without irritating skin. Great remover, great value

I use this every night to take off my eyeliner and mascara. It takes a minute or two to get all of the makeup off, but it's worth the time! The only problem I have is that it makes my eyes sting when I put too much on the cotton ball, but that's probably user error more than anything. It doesn't leave any residue at all. This is nothing special, it stings if you get it in your eyes by accident, and I've hurt my eyes because you literally have to scratch at them with this to get any eye makeup off. It smells okay, not pleasant, but not a horrible smell either. It's an okay price, but I just don't find that it works. For the record, I have tried this with waterproof mascara and with washable mascara, with and without eyeliner, and it was overall just kind of scratchy, painful, and I felt was a waste of money since olive oil, soap, face wash, crying, just about anything could take your makeup off better than this. — 1 month, 2 weeks ago

This is a really good makeup remover. Most importantly, IT DOESN'T STING WHEN IT GETS IN YOUR EYES! LOVE THAT! It gets the makeup off really easily without tearing at my eyes. It leaves my eyelid and eye area really moisturized, but it can feel a little bit oily on my skin, but I just blot it off with a tissue. No big deal. It smells very clean without being sweet. It doesn't irritate the sensitive skin around the eye area, and I usually just use this for my whole face, it's that effective. I don't think it performs at a ten star level, but I only use this since I doubt I can find a better makeup remover anywhere else. — 2 months ago

I bought this only because there was a buy one get one half-price sale at a local drugstore. It does take off my waterproof makeup quite well, so it does what it's supposed to do. However, I think it should have a flip-top so that it's easier to control the amount you use. Also, it says it's "unscented", but to me it has a slight smell of nail-polish remover. And it does sting if any of it gets into my eyes. — 4 months ago

I had to purchase this remover when my usual one was not available. Almay's product did not remove much of my eye makeup AND it smeared my mascara to make the situation worse. I do not recommend this product, even though is it fairly inexpensive. — 1 year, 10 months ago
