Almay is one of the few (if not the only) cruelty-free drugstore brand, which is why I bought this product. I keep buying it because it works well, is inexpensive, and comes in a pretty bottle. This is a stellar makeup remover. it takes off waterproof mascara and eyeliner with no rubbing or extensive time. I was surprised at how well it worked, as others have left me with remnants of the mascara that ring the eyes and make me look like I have two shiners. The Almay oil free doesn't leave any sort of residue, and the best part it is doesn't sting if you get it in your eyes. It leaves skin feeling refreshed and as a bit of aloe/cucumber scent which is really nice. Use this before you wash your face to get rid of any trace of makeup without irritating skin.
