not impressive
This is a very average concealer. It has very sheer coverage, so if you have dark circles or whatever obvious imperfections, they'll pretty much stay as they are. I don't have any serious lines, but this concealer seems to ALWAYS crease right where those fine lines are and make them obvious. Thus I don't see how it is line smoothing. The good things are: nice natural colors, no smell, ok price. The rest is nothing special. I'm definitely better off just using my revlon colorstay foundation to deal with occasional dark circles and blemishes. So, so in LOVE! Let me count the ways....
I was using the Clinique Line Smoothing concealer and it worked fine, but I was running out and didn't want to spend a bundle on a concealer. When I was shopping, I ran across this concealer and even though I don't have lines, I really liked the preventative aspect and the SPF (even though it is only an SPF 10). I had never seen that before! I purchased it in "Light" and it was the perfect shade! I brought it home and it was so easy to blend in under my eyes. It was nice and smooth and not tacky or hard to tap. With the Clinique concealer, I felt like I had to tug at my undereye area to get it to blend. I just love this concealer! wonderful coverage
Even though I have combo skin, I bought this for two reasons. 1) I hate stick concealers. 2) I'm fighting off early signs of crows feet and lines on my lower lids. I actually tried this concealer about a year ago; I had to filch some concealer from my Mom because I ran out of my own. Since I am in my early twenties I never really thought about purchasing any concealer that addressed fine lines or anything but after trying this I've changed my tune; at any age concealer can settle into any lines you may have under the eyes and age you. This concealer moisturizes and brightens the eye area, reducing the appearance of dark circles and never settles into those lines or creases. It's a great drugstore concealer and a steal to boot. I wear it everyday!
I use this concealer under my eyes everyday and it covers my dark circles and makes me look more awake. It blends in very well and lasts all day. It's a thinner consistency so it doesn't cover well over acne, I use a seperate concealer for that. Another 10 bucks down the drain
I bought this, curious about the promises it makes...:/ not a happy shopper. I feel the coverage is too light/sheer. I did not notice any difference in my under eye area. It did wear off throughout the day and I felt my eyes looked tired or sometimes even dry underneath. It did not crease the worst but I will not purchase again nor recommend. LOVE THIS!
This is the best concealer I have ever used and the only one I use now! Before this one, I had tried so many that were cakey or didn't cover well, but this one is terrific. I always have dark circles and this covers them so very well, without being too thick, and the color match is just right.
